What my favorite is and what I buy are two different things. SO, I am going to say my favorite tool brand that I use is Harbor Freight (HF). Isn't that awful, the dollar rules my decision and choice. I have found about a 4 to 1 price benefit / replacement ratio. In other words I can replace the HF tool 4 times to equal the price of a high quality major brand. I also found rarely do I ever replace more than twice so I am money ahead!
