Quig is bored, no one posting anything!! Someone talk,or even to me. I'm not smart, so be easy, or just bs. Mods, feel free to delete.

I see that & agree, I'll be posting some photos in a while that may get me harassed or nick named Mr. Clean, I'll delete this later if it doesn't stir up something.

Nice to see something here.I was beginning to think everyone else was out riding and I was stuck here by myself.(LOL)

I got enclosure on, & lexan windshield,, need to go somewhere!! Also waiting on ball joints, mine should be ok, I hope for awhile. Just cold & windy here, no snow yet..

Have some new foldable mirrors coming, need longer arms on them because of enclosure, found some in jc whitney for jeep.

does your enclosure have the canvas sides and come from joyner? I purchased a kit for my T-4 from a guy that bought some at the joyner auction and it had the windsheild, hard top, rear widow and canvas sides but came with no directions on how to hang the top of the sides. Not sure if I will use them anyway but would be nice to know.

Hello Quiq,

I was thinking the same thing where have all the people gone and I was going to post my earlier post but you beat me to it. So I had to post my song anyway. Glad you enjoyed it. We are still on the road in the RV but will be home Monday. Been gone 3 weeks.

Have to make some RV repairs before we meet Rick in LH. Door on the Frig broke the lower hinge and is falling off, one of my spring hangers has worn a slot in the spring/shackle bolt hole so the shackle bolt is moving up and down with a couple of the axle springs and a lady ran a stop sign in the SF Bay area and hit my truck. Already has been estimated and it came in at $2470 of repairs to my truck. But we are fine and doing well. BUT can't wait to get home!

Lenny I wll make my own new hinge as I read on the internet that is a common failure with the RV frigs. Will us ALUMINUM!

On the positive side I will have the $ to order at least the rear shocks and hopefully will have enough soon to order the fronts also. Problem is I have to get new corner weights for the Trooper since I made all the changes to the cage the Trooper is lighter and weight is redistributed.

Well that is what is happening with us. Take care all and hope you are looking at getting that Turkey.

Rick, email me at [email protected] and I will forward onto you the instructions you need for you enclosure. It's a file from the old Team Joyner crowd and I can not post it here.

Here is my video in the theme of things for the rest of you. Oh yeah and roc, Micky J is both older and younger than you.

Well, big storm came in, wind, snow, drifts, roads closed, schools closed, supposed to get worse tonite & wed. 25 below with wind chill, really sucks.

Well, 1st real ride in the snow,,Wow! What a blast! enclosure worked great, no wind, not bad tempature inside . Handled real well, until snow got up to undercarriage, 12" was fine, but deeper, started worrying, & it started to high center. Cookies, & hills were a blast. Front end & engine compartment completely packed with snow. Wheels & tires look like powder donuts.

A few more miles south and you would have been in Utah. Come back in when it's warm and I'll introduce you to American Fork Canyon and some other beautiful mountains.

I have the factory service manual available for the Buck 400. Just send me a message with your email and I'll get it to you. Although there is no charge for this, it would be great if  you would visit my website where you could donate any amount to help do things like this with others who need it. Again, there is no charge for this manual, and no obligation to donate. But if you did, I would thank you for sure. Have fun on the trails. www.warriorsoffroad.com

I have a 2018 cub cadet challenger 750 I bought brand new almost 2 years ago the first month I had it the exhaust broke and burnt the spark plug wire in two that was a recall so the dealership installed the new one it had a different design and it bolted up to the bottom two plugs below the spark plug the dealership said they had to Adjust the exhaust valves I get the machine back thanking everything is good now wrong not even a week after I get it back the timing chain tensioner comes apart inside the motor I take it back to the dealership They put one on I get the machine back thanking everything is good but then just like before not even a week goes by when I was riding the Machine automatically quits going come to find out the wet clutch was burned up the primary clutch head stripped off of the splines I get that fixed and then  it overheats I take it back they bleed the air out of the coolant they bring it back to me the same day that I get it back it overheats again I take it back they temporarily fix it again just enough to let the warranty run out and now the machine has been to multiple different mechanics I have had them try to bleed the air out they have stood it up on its end I have had the water pump changed I have had the fan hooked to a switch so I could leave it on all the time but still almost 2 years later not even 200 hours on the machine and I cannot ride it The dealership will not take it back as a lemon I have tried I am at my wits end I have no clue what to try next

We all know summer is hot inside the cabs of our SXS. So I've rigged up a couple of fans to help cool down the cab.

I didn't want to drill the fan's "support rails" into the ROPS (Roll Over Protection System), aka roll bars. So I used water clamps to hold them in place.

I just need to replace the wires I ran with bigger gauge. Then finish the wiring to switches, relays, and battery. But the hardest part. The actual mounting of the fans is complete. Also just in case anyone plans on doing this. I may have to only use 1 fan in the middle instead on 2. Due the the draw on the battery.
The fans are 12", 12V 80W. So I'm figured they were 6.7 amps apiece. Used the WAVe formula to get unknown values Watts=Amps*Volts then solve for unknown. I know the watts and volts from sticker on fan. So just used above formula to get amps. So a 7 amp fuse should be OK and a 10 amp fuse will be good.
So pulling 14 amps from the battery all day may be too much for the charging system to keep up with. And I haven't even installed the radio yet. So I will have to test and let you know.

      See pics below.

Haven't posted in a while since solving the excessive cabin noise issue, so I thought I would share a few upgrades to my Sector... Realize that this is driven daily on the street, so some of the mods are to make it more streetworthy.

      Locking gas door.

      Rear view mirror.

Modified windshield for better airflow in cabin.

Lowered and modified headrest bar for improved rear view.  Tailgate protector.

      Folding armrests.

Overhead utility rack.  Keeps the interior cooler and dryer, too!

      Folding rear seats.

      Dust cover and seat protector.
If anyone wants links to the rear view mirror, seats, or arrests, let me know and I will post.  But know that everything requires some level of fabrication.  The utility rack was all custom built.  Cheers!
