Head Light Bulbs, Has any one found replacements

Recommended Posts

Got done with my rewire and only made a few mistakes, got the 2wd and 4wd wires reversed. I ran the winch all the way out and back in and it seems my FET H bridge will handle the load, probably ought to try lifting it off the ground to make sure it can handle every thing rather than find out it can't in the field when needed the most.

Also need to replace the head light bulbs but I can't find one locally.

I thought I'd ask if any one has found a replacement, then start browsing the Internet.

Replacement Headlights I used are Sylvania H5006 High/Low. I would imaging the number is the same for any manufacturer. The Headlight sockets to change it over are Dorman 9003 High Temps.....

So instead of changing just the little bulb, you changed the whole light, I assume it fits right into where the old on was, or did you have to change or modify anything?

Thanks

Changed to light force lights. That is when I discovered I had wiring issues in the passenger fuse block.

Thanks bigdan120, Put 2 Sylvania H5006 lights in today, but instead of buying the Dorman plug, I soldered some wires on and use some connectors I have on hand. Haven't had it out at night yet, maybe tonight.

Thanks, Kinarfi

hi all maybe this has been addressed idk. What are the connectors called coming off the main headlight with 4wires, 2hi/2lo+ground. I'm looking at a HID kit which has two 2wire connectors, like the fog lights have. is that a standard size, or number ?

You'll never drown, if you're born to hang

Just wanted to pass along my little project after not finding any ready made accessories for adding a rear winch.  I always say a front winch is to get others out of trouble.  A rear winch is to get me out of trouble.   I had my local steel shop bend up a rear bracket and integrated it into the rear frame of the machine.  I extended the rear hitch and utilized the existing rear pin with the new bracket.   The bracket bolts to existing holes on each side of frame and is super strong.  I bought a 3500lb winch from Harbor Freight that matches the OEM front winch in all respects except the labels.   I added a second corded remote to the dash and extended the power leads to reach the rear with the control box mounted with the front one.  Total project cost was $225.

I have just purchased a 07 3010 Mule. It has high hours at 1900 but has been well taken care of. It seems to run well but just a bit weak. Every now and then I hear a clinging sound that may be a ignition spark to ground but I can't seem to find it. It will not do it when I'm looking. Also the back plug is showing its rich. It is black in no time where the front is a lite brown.
I did find it had the wrong plugs so I changed them, but no help.
As I have just got this I was wondering what do I need to look at as far as simple mods or weak points.
      Thanks for your help

      Hello, New guy here.
I just purchased a 2018 Kawasaki Mule Pro Dx EPS. Looking for some advise on what type of hitch (Single point 3 point?) people are using.
I'm looking for easy on easy off and the ability to use multiple implements.
      Thanks for your input.

Can anyone help me locate the back up siren?  It is so loud it really hurts my ears.  I'd like to be able to disable the noise or at least muffle it.
