Dan B 10 Report post Posted October 19, 2017 It's a timing mark. The crankshaft gear tooth with a timing punch mark is lined up with the camshaft punch mark. You should get a service manual to ensure they are lined up correctly. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
