silverbullet  Will  have been building  engines since 1997

This is likely ours he's talking about here....we have a 2008 Joyner Trooper T2. We took it to Rich in Nov 2017, with the understanding he would start on it right after the first of the year. Finally after many communications and giving up, we retrieved it unfinished the first of Sept - and the buggy was cannibalized. The engine had been rebuilt, but he did not do the rebuild himself, because he didn't have a mechanic. The engine was rebuilt, he told us by NAPA, however it does supposedly have his custom cam in it. BUT, it's not holding good oil pressure. Still working out what we're gonna do about that. There's supposed to be a warranty on it, but we're not hauling it back down there so the warranty can be honored. He's 5 hrs away from us, and who knows what might be taken off it if we take it back down there. AND, he has no mechanic. As we said, we retrieved it unfinished. The engine had not been installed, the clutch and pressure plate had not been installed, and Rich told us himself he's too old to do the work. There's a Joyner T4 sitting there now that was there when we dropped ours off in Nov 2017. And now there's an Oreion sitting there he says he's working on. Again, he has no mechanic.  We retrieved our Joyner the first of September, and Lloyd and our son spent 2 days finding parts, installing the engine, and putting it back together to the point they could load it on the trailer and bring it home. Rich still owes us parts that were not there (gaskets, ignition, etc) and parts that were taken off that should not have been. He claims he has no knowledge of what was taken or why. We don't question his knowledge - but he is ultimately responsible for parts that were removed that he cannot account for. The ignition was gone; the steering column was dismantled and parts missing. And that only scratches the surface....in a nutshell, if you are considering getting Silverbullet to do some work for you, I suggest you do a shop visit first and make your own decision from there.

That sucks. I have been waiting on an upgraded new rear differential ordered last June. If anyone has any info. On getting it or money back, please let me know. Good luck to all involved in that bullshit scam artist's way of doing business. I guess live and learn. Hopefully Karma will take care of it before one of us has to....

As far as I know,

Rich is in jail with a pending investigation into quite a few things.

None of the silverbullet phone numbers work

The place where the shop used to be now has a for sale sign and has been cleared out.

Sorry I dont have better news for all the people he screwed over

FYI  Information from the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) website on this company.  Listed with the ACC in 2007 as located in Phoenix, AZ.  Last annual report report filed in 2009.  Company name is no longer active.  If anyone wants to, they can start a new company with that same name but it comes with some baggage.  Ricard Riccardo is listed as the owner.  Johnaten (probably his brother) is also listed.  At that time, their address was listed on W 31 Ave in Phoenix.  Numbered streets in Phx are N/S, few, if any  are E/W.  They moved to Yuma sometime after 2009.  They've had 4 different addresses in Yuma since that time (one a vacant farm field).  Seems like this is more of a hobby than an income producing business.  It might be a good idea to check with the ACC to see if a business or individual you want to do business with to see if they are listed and active.  AZ law says you can't contract with a business and a business can't contract with you  to do any work that is valued over $1,000 (may not apply to automotive work but it does apply to residential work on your home or property).

I purchased a new 2023 Landmaster UTV L4 in October of 2023.  UTV didn't seem to have as much power of the demo L4 that I drove but figured once it broke in it would be better.  After about a week the unit started bogging down backfiring and stopping.  Gas fumes really bad, wait a few minutes and it would start up again.  Brought it back to the dealer and after keeping it for a few weeks said he couldn't find anything wrong with it.  Got it back home and it started acting up again, brought it back to dealer a week later and he said he found couple things that might cause it to do run bad and he was able to replicate the issue but didn't really know what was wrong.  Got it back home again after being at dealer for several weeks and the unit started running bad again right away.  Brought it back to dealer and he went back and forth with Kohler about possible fixes but just checked somethings and try to swap a few parts but still runs bad.  I called Landmaster HQ to speak with someone about a refund and was told that was handled at the dealer level.  Dealer called Landmaster and they told him they didn't do refunds or exchanges especially with units that had problems.  The dealer is now trying to get a new engine to but I have not heard anything as of yet.  I did file complaint with Better Business Bureau and they accepted my claim and reached out to Landmaster.  The National Service Manager called me and said the he had been contacted by the BBB about the complaint and he would look into it.  I told him that I would just like to have my down payment of $2,000.00 returned and never mind the over $1,000.00 I have paid in notes for a UTV that I cannot even ride on without hoping it gets me around the neighborhood.  I have found out that the 2024 Landmaster UTVs will have Vanguard engines due to issues with the Kohler engines.  Very disappointed in what is "Proudly Made in the USA" and the way Landmaster has treated this disabled veteran!

Going down a 20 deg hill engine is holding UTV back. Then something releases like going into Neutral and makes a loud clacking noise. Have to use brake to slow UTV down. Then once level it shifts back into gear. Have done shift extension does not pop out of gear.

starts up you have keep rpms up for 5 minutes till it warms up then runs fine. But if it stalls wont start unless you unplug fuel pump and hold it to the floor till it starts then plug pump back in and run it till it warms up then it is fine all day.
