2008 hisun 500 utv no spark

Recommended Posts

  • Hisun .500 changed the title to 2008 hisun 500 utv no spark

To start with the voltage to the coil is a capacitive discharge voltage not a dc voltage. The basics is the CDI (capacitive discharge unit) operates off the magneto generated voltage and a pickup that tells it when to fire. The capacitor discharge unit charges up while the magneto turns past the charge coil and then fires the coil when a magnet passes the pickup coil. If you are not electrically oriented, you will have trouble repairing this.
Here is a repair manual in case you don't have one. Follow the troubleshooting procedures in the manual. After you familiarize yourself with the manual if you need help I will help you.

Have a Hisun 800 it runs for about 35 minutes then stalls. Crank's over but has no spark. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and it starts and runs again for about 35 minutes. Changed the CDI / ECU controller and still does it.

It's not immediately obvious to me how to wire a remote control (wired or wireless) on the Sector E1.
Has anyone here done this? Do you have pictures on how to get to the wiring?
      Thanks!

Just got this kymco 450i Uxv from a guy, drove it around before I paid. Got home drove around town a little while the next day and it started squealing and amd didn’t want to go. Got to looking at the clutch, that’s were the noise is coming from, the primarily sounds like. Maybe a bearing in there cause the grinding noise and it only makes the noise when you go to move.

I have a 2023 trailboss 750. It has a low rpm and mid rpm miss that won't go away. Took it to a shop and had full service, valves adjusted and a sensor replaced. Think the miss is worse than before. Any ideas?0
