  1. I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay? Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.
  2. Anyone decent with electrical work that knows a good tutorial on how to make my running lights switch off all together but also turn back on when I need too? I'd assume that my lights are hard wired to the battery or the fuse panel. Vehicle is a Kawasaki Krx 1000 I'm looking to ad IR driving lights for night vision and short of just putting black tape over the lights I feel this would be a more efficient option and it would be cooler.
  3. Oh damn! I've seen those before. Yeah that is a solid idea to get. Thanks!
  4. Horse mats!? I can't believe I didn't think of that! That an awesome solution.😁 Would a jack like the one from old jeep work for repairs or is it to weak to lift a Kawasaki Krx?
  5. These little guys on the edges of the bed. Sorry if the photo isn't super clear...oh and it's kinda dirty 😅. I'm picking up what you're saying though. I think if I cover those with masking tape and spray it down with bed liner it should work. I did some digging on it and so far it seems like a good solution for helping haul stuff. Now when it comes to carrying tools for trail work I'm seeing that most of the parts I need to access are typically removed by sockets and maybe a few other small odds and ends. Is that a good bet to add to my kit?
  6. Does bed liner really make that much of a difference? Does it hinder taking out the plastic pop rivets at all? Any specific brand you recommend?
  7. Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine. I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting: A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important) A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?) Tire chains for the winter And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out. Bumpers because duh. I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags. Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus. Thanks so much!
  8. Hello! New member looking to get some general info. Got my first SxS this year. Kawasaki teryx krx 1000 2025. Hoping I can learn some new stuff and help out. Pleased to meet you all!
