I assume the engine is slow to initially turn over. We found the cause to be incorrect cam setting not opening valve when it should. Take the rocker and side cover off and you can see how and when it should work. Fixed it by adjusting. You won't find anything relevant  in the service manual.

Check valve clearances and also worth checking timing. Timing chain will stretch a bit over time and can put valves out enough to cause backfire especially when backing off after hard acceleration.

It was manufactured  in China but is no longer in production. I sold several and am still getting spare parts direct from China from CHONGQING TECHNOLOGY DEVLOPMENT CO LTD. They know it as Model XY300.

Disregard compression for now.  What about injector?  Remove it then reconnect it and hold in a glass container. Wind the motor over and observe spray pattern. If  the fuel "squirt"a  fine mist all is OK. If a "stream" you have a faulty or clogged injector. 

Fault codes can be difficult to follow but will only guide us to an electrical fault. Test the injector then we can dig further. PS higher octane fuel should not be necessary.

Took some digging but have attached wiring diagram of Hisun 1000 which is basically the same as 800 (800manual I have does not show what we are looking for).

Hope is of some help. They call the crank sensor a torque sensor.

Incidentally, the early 800s had an oil pump made with inferior material and failed big time. Replacement is OK. Strongly suggest you install a temp sensor with audible alarm and stop quick if it goes off.
