I am reaching out to see if anyone on here has experience with the X&Y products. I purchased a used 600UTV a few months ago and it appears it may have some electrical issue. It kills a new battery in just 2-3 months. Fortunately, my battery warranty has saved me so far, but I can't count on that indefinitely.
It starts great with the new battery, but over the course of weeks, it will need a jump start, and then eventually the battery would not even accept a charge. I am on my 2nd new battery now.
I am a newbie when it comes to UTVs. Is there an alternator on these? If not, what mechanism is there to charge the battery when in use?
