  1. For ability to get around your UTV/atv is much more capable than any existing wheelchairs including the track style. Their range is very limited and they are not good on wet slippery surfaces or any kind of steep hill or sidehill. Can you modify or have somebody else modify your side by side to make it easy to access. Looking at your side by side it looks like some overhead straps could help your access. You didn't mention if you are paraplegic or quadriplegic.

  3. I have had good luck with my Joyner Trooper, but I don't take it out jumping dunes either. For a trail rig, it is great. They have a few hiccups that I took care of when I first got it, but it seems pretty hardy after that. I had to put copper shims in the steering box and power steering.

  4. I have a 2009 Joyner Trooper 1100. I found that the Joyner Trooper ball joints were very poor quality, so I simply bought a similar size ball joint and the angle reamer, and they are much more robust. I find that with my trooper, a few things are just not made well and can use a few design changes. By in Large, the trooper is a very hardy machine and can be run trouble free if you don't treat it like a 1100 lb dune buggy and take it out jumping , etc.

  5. Welcome aboard from a fellow Californian. I'm running a highly modified Joyner Trooper. You will really enjoy the ability to get out and crawl across areas without leaving a trace and still exploring some very challenging terrain.
