  1. if you havnt already done so start with the fuse and work your way out to the switch, relay and so on,could be a number of things.

Hi Rick, Thanks for replying quickly. My problem is is that I don't know where these things are located? I looked at the wiring and I have the manual but that doesn't show me the locations. Is there an easy way to locate?

  2. I got it installed yesterday afternoon.Wasnt anywhere near as bad as I thought it might be.Still have to hook up the wiring but thats no problem.Undesided weather to keep the stock dash switch active or not.Heres a photo but it was taken after dark, will get another in daylight.

My turn signals stopped blinking (would stay steadily on) and now they are totally dead. Any idea?

  3. Hey all who responded,

thanks for helping. I found a place on the internet who sells Joyners and tires to fit. This is what I found out from the manual and my own measurements.....

Rims: front 12x6 and rear 12x8 bolt pattern 4/115 and offset is 4+2 in the front and 6+2 in the rear. The stock tires are 25x8x12 and 25x10x12.

Same as the Trooper only 12". Cheapest thing to do is find a set of Trooper wheels & use the tires until bald. Then replace from DiscountTireDirect, com or RockyMountain.com

Both also have wheels if you want to buy aftermarket.

The specs on the Trooper wheels can be found in one of the Pinned Topics at the top of the Joyner Forum.

  4. I am a new owner to a 2009 Joyner Commando and I am looking to purchase new tires and wheels. I do not know the size of the rims and the 4 lug pattern measurement. I am looking for some figures here. I need to know the stock rim size. The tires that are on there now are 27x8x12 front and 27x11x12 rear. And if you have any good websites to purchase....please share. THANKS

  5. You have injector which are much more reliable than a carb. Get some injector cleaner and put it in the tank per the directions on the bottle. After that start checking connections problems. Start at the fuse box, take it off and check the back also, and carry on thu-out the wiring. Electrical problems are very hard to find!

Thanks! Will try injector cleaner. And checking electrical. Will let you know

  6. Another possibility is water got into your tank via condensation from the temperature going up and down, during my flying days, they taught me to alway keep the tank full to prevent this. If you have rodents around, and you probably do in the mountains, when it's not being used, put a few moth balls or urinal cookies in or around it, or so I hear.

There are mice where I am but I don't see any signs or droppings around the vehicle. If there is condensation in the tank then what do you recommend?

  7. How long an interval between the times you drove it? Remember today's fuel has to be stabilized if the toy is not used regularly. If it was a long time, more than a month or two, I would first try running some injector cleaner in the fuel. Then move on to the tough stuff, Is it electrical or fuel related?

I usually try to drive it every weekend. the sources of gas are sparce up there in the mountains so, yes, the gas does get old. I have tried some fuel stabilizer and the Mystery Oil brand stabilizer. any other products that you would recommend? Does this sound like a carberator problem? What would make you think it is electrical? it has the battery it came with and the other electrical things seem to be working. Does it need a tune up? In my jet ski and snow blower (I used to live in Chicago) I would take out the spark plugs and spray carb cleaner in there. would this help?

    thanks for your input

  8. I am a new Joyner owner. I bought a used Joyner Commando 650cc with only 25 hours on it. It lives in the mountains in Arizona. I have had it since June. Ran fine. Now it sputters especially during acceleration. Not as bad after warming it up but still sputters. Any ideas?
