So it s a 2005 Joyner 800 CC (3 cylinder).

  Starts and idles great.

Sitting in neutral, it revs up nice as long and you dont stomp the throttle too quickly, then it will sputter as it climbs RPMs but cleans up and fires on all 3.

Starting off in first, you have to get the RPMS up pretty high and then slowly let the clutch out. If you release the clutch too quickly, it BLAH and loses RPMS and dies, almost like it has no flywheel wight at all. Sp you kinda have to ride the clutch a bit to get her going, ESPECIALLY uphill.

Once up to speed, it does fine and sounds good. But if you are in the lower RPM range and lower speeds (1st) or (2nd) gear, you have to slowly accelerate. If you stop the throttle, its like someone turned the key off - it just stops firing on all cylinders instantly, then begins to accelerate, then the cylinders kick back in and it takes off pretty good.

Stomping the gas makes the accelerator pump spray pretty good, and applying the choke doesn't help - so I don't think its running lean at WOT.

Almost seems like a timing problem or something, like of the timing was WAY off.

    What I tried:

     Random timing settings, by hand.

     Adjusting the timing to spec.

     Replaced carb

Blocked off vacuum advance, then switch back to OEM.

     Checked plugs.

     Fresh fuel.

     New fuel filter.

     Checked air filter.

     Checked charging system.

Checked for / fixed vacuum leaks.

     Checked distributor cap and rotor.

Should I try adjusting the air screw on the carb??

I would be open to any ideas.

   Thanks.

I have a 2007 Joyner 1100 sand viper and  before it even get's to where the thermostat opens up the oil pressure get's so low I have to shut it down. What could fix this ? I thought about adding an oil cooler with fan, thicker oil, or removing the thermostat. Any advice?

2004 250DL DIRT DEVIL. Hey y’all, I already know this is a long shot. But I am looking for a the “prick gear” assembly that makes reverse work for my external reverse gearbox. OEM PN D250.08.103 and its assembly. I bought the kart as a basket case, but I saw that the reverse box was present so I was optimistic.  Upon starting working on the buggy I realized there was a block off plate in plate of there the normal gear would be. If my understanding is correct that means the transmission no longer has reverse gear. I figured it’s just a standard bevel gear and I could probably find a gear to make work, but I don’t want to spend the time making all the other housing parts to shim the gear perfectly. Has anyone spare parts, or figured out an aftermarket solution from McMaster? I already know it’ll be a challenge to get this box to be happy again, but figured I would ask

I have an Axis 500 and never had any problems until now,it cuts out
at around half throttle. I changed the TPS with no difference, acts like the seatbelts aren't set but can get up to around 15 mph as long as I don't give it too much gas, thanks for any advice

Not my machine T boss 800 Massimo, < 300 hours will not shift at transmission, cable from selector knob is okay, cannot get it to shift at the transmission. Is there a safety one of the safeties I'm not holding in, I've tried the brake is something weird going on or is it  Transmission problems.
