You need to build your own, because these are custom made.

You can use boat cables with some matching connectors, because they are reliable and cheap - and working fine.

engine:
copy of Ford's Escort XR31 CVH 8V engine

gearbox:
MTX75 flange with VW Golf 2 copy transmission

You can ad a fifth gear in the housing without any mods, take vw parts. A locking diff - I don't know.

"Just" the optic and lights, nothing essential - as the base is already good. I will improve the gearbox by adding a fifth gear. But thats all i would suggest. 

More Horsepower would be nice, but would result in a engine swap. Maybe - we will see... 

If you got the same 1100 - i could prepare a set for you. About price, i need to calculate what time i need to weld them, material etc.

Also shipment is an issue, i need to think about.

100/100 will result in a 50lbs spring rate - i would combine 100+250lbs

There is just one really good upgrade possible, by using different joints that will hold up to 50.000km without any problems. I drive them on both of my buggies - its perfect.

 

Price: 320€ - and you never need to think again about that stuff.

 

 

The stock joints ( doesn't matter which manufacturer) are not working, because of wrong installation position when placed in. These bearing are made to fit vertical, not horizontal.

I've seen yearben also here on a 1600 4seater - damping was nearly same as my setup. Calaculation of springs is easy so far.

They do not come with springs.

Who cares? Stock springs have wrong setup even so. And Faulkner will made custom springs for small money.

I would mean my dampers are cheaper and better in performance as they are easily adjustable from the outside in bump and rebound - indepently from another.

 

And these shocks are used in UK racing series... that's says enough.
