Most of the times, the regulator was set up wrong. The lines should be on correct order. Mine regulator (ebay 20€) worked fine for 2 years.

1) does someone here modified the gearbox with a fifth gear? Does someone made photos of it?

2) stock engine 1600 seems to be kind of slow setup. Does anybody know modification to make the eninge faster?

Your final reduction is to large, that'd one reason - and offroad-tyres are also not useful for high speeds.

You don't need more rpm. You need smaller and lighter rims.

My limit is as well 6200. Absolute Top speed was 155km/h = 96mph on a long highway road with 5% slope. RPM were about 5500 in 5th gear.
I drive 215/40R17.

But is this steering not far to long? 5:1 instead of 1,5:1 ?

This engine upgrade on the 371 is hilarious - 93Nm/69ps - oh yes that's a lot more power...

In my opinion the better way would be finishing less projects.

But I don't care anymore for Chery parts as that's to expensive for serious power gain. A swap is definitely the better solution for more power. For the price of cams and bigger pistons you can buy hole Japanese car with 150hp.

If you don't get it i cant help.Last time we talked i told you had a customer want to go balls to the walls.We are still building his engine.When he is finish we will be able to do some dyno tune on his motor.It is being balanced and blue printed so we can go all out.We have and 800 we will test in the next few weeks.We will let the utv board no the results.

Its now August - it was May when you start to build up his engine - so where are the results?
