Please remember that we don't know what is going on at TeamJoyner USA right now so use caution if you decide to order. Read Brostars warning under Joyner Out of Business post #22

There are covers for the T2 and T4 on Ebay cheap if anyone is interested.

Do you have a link or a search string that could be helpful?
Thanks

I am looking to upgrade or replace the factory muffler on my T2. Im not necessarily looking to increase performance, I just really want to quiet it as much as possible. I ran across this item online:
Anyone have knowledge or experience with this product? I dont want to be doing a bunch of hacking so am looking for something more or less bolt on or minimal modification.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I am wanting to put a net or webbing similar to what you see in place of tailgates on some trucks.
Reference link = http://www.aztrucks.com/covercraft_product...et_Tailgate_Net
Does anyone know of something along these lines I could use to enclose the Trooper's rear cargo area?
thanks!

Nice tires. They look even better than the link you posted! What kind of rims are you running there? They look great.
Here is a link to the ITP SS rims I am running - SS212 machined:

PS - This is the pic I took of the lugs to show the minimal clearance and the necessity of a thin wall 18mm socket.

Anyone know of a product that will help reduce the amount of dust that sticks to the windshield? Like rain-x for dirt?
Dust buildup is a big prob for me on these desert trails, I currently have a 3/4 window setup and may have to hack that down a bit (last resort) if I cannot come up with another solution.

Figured I would chime in on this one...
What you should do is get a deep chrome 18mm Craftsman socket from Sears. I would go with a 12 pt unless your lugs are rounded on the edges, then find a 6 point. It shouldn't crack or shatter, and if it does, your lugs are over torqued.
11/16 is closer to 17mm. 3/4 is 19mm, there is no standard socket equivalent for 18mm.
That is exactly what I have. 18mm deep chrome crasftsman socket 12pt. ground down a bit... gonna have my buddy grind me a spare too.

can you post a photo? please.
Sure, I just need to borrow my GFs camera.
BTW, my buddy has a shop and ground down a deep 18 mm 12pt socket for me and it works great! Gonna have him do a spare too.

My Craftsman metric set has a 18mm that works just fine.
I have non-stock rims and the clearance between the lug and rim opening is minimal.

11/16 will also work, fits a tad snugger than 18 mm but that's good if you haven't buggered the lugnuts, I had a spare 11/16 deep with 1/2 drive and welded it to an old tire iron that I cut the head off of and ground the end down square.
photo of wrench and jack coming.

I tried my standard 11/16 socket and it was a tad small, however from what I have seen might be easier to find a thin wall one. It appears that 18mm thin wall sockets just arent manufactured... I have looked ALL over the internet. 17 or 19 all day long but NO 18.

gut,
Here my info for the replacement lugs I installed and purchased from Discount Tires. The lugs come with the required socket.

I need this for the lugs for my UTV rims. Having a really hard time tracking such an item down... Starting to think only alternative is replacing all lugs with smaller lugs or grinding a socket.

Thanks guys. Any recommendations on a good jack point?
-
I bought a $20 scissor jack for mine. It compacts nice, is light and lifts a good height. Im planning to mount it behind the passangers seat for ease of access.
I found scissor jack for $25, but its max height is 14" and I dont think that is going to cut it. I might just have to resort to bringing a couple 2x4s with me...

I didnt get an owners manual with my Trooper, going to ask my dealer about it tomorrow... but I was curious if anyone knows of a PDF (or something similar) available online?

I need to purchase a jack for my trooper but was curious what others have used as a solid solution. Given the high clearance of the vehicle it appears the choices might be limited. Also, where on the frame is a good jack point for front and rear?
TIA

I dont have ready access to a camera so I found a link with a photo of the tires I am running on my Trooper. Love them so far, excellent on rocks and dirt. Have yet to hit pavement or soft sand.

thanks guys
Actually brostar I did have the opportunity to wheel it this weekend and was very impressed with the suspension and climbing ability of the vehicle. I progressively attempted more difficult and aggressive hill climbs and each time it performed very well. So far I am extremely pleased with my purchase and look forward to the many adventures ahead!

Trooper muffler

Thanks for everybody's input.
I decided to have the local shop where I purchased my trooper fabricate a muffler for me. Figure this is best and easiest as I am having them throw on a new set of 28" Interco Swamp Lite tires.
