  1. Silverbullet.

We now sell a new stock clutch. It is made in japan and has a better metrial on the disc. The springs are heavy duty no plastic in the disc.Quality is far better than the stock clutch from China. It is less expenesive then the stock clutch from joyner 195.00.The keliver is what works best on the turbo trooper renegades Vipers. If you just want a replacement clutch this is the clutch for you.We have decided to make the forged pistons stock and low compression for the turbos & none turbos we will carry total seal rings and a good quality stock rings We cant get rings or pistons from the dealer. On brake pads we will carry CU SINTERED METAL PADS for Troopers Vipers.A good all around pad stops better and last longer.Coming soon 3 to 6 weeks out.

Hope you have a great season.

I am interested in the forged pistons how much will the low compression ones lower the ratio as my trooper has a turbo? And what is the pricing?

  2. My Trooper has been cutting out when I would let up on the throttle. Just quit then run ok again. It always ran fine when I was down on the throttle, it just happened when I was letting off. Though I had a wire shorting or continunity problem that showed up when a wire shifted forward a speck when letting up. I think I may have found the problem. so far haven't found any wire related issues but did find a wiring error. I replaced the Oxygen sensors on my Trooper and in doing so had to cut the plugs off the old sensors and put them on the new sensors. One wire is a little longer then the other because it reaches to the downstream sensor. Well, I put the longer wired plug on the upstream sensor and vise-versa. It ran fine when accelerating, because both sensors saw extra oxygen so it provided extra fuel for it. But, when I let up on it, the downstream sensor which was now reading from the upstream position would see a shortage of oxygen because there is a speck of time that the engine runs rich when letting up on the throttle. I suspect that normally the sensor that is downstream, after the catylitic comverter, looks for a different fuel oxygen ratio then the upstream one. It probably doesn't care if it's running lean because it only wants to see enough oxygen to burn off any remaining fuel componets for clean emmision. If it doesn't see any oxygen during that instant of letup, I suspect that the computer cuts the fuel until it sees some oxygen. The computer would react differently to the normally upstream sensor's signal. Haven't tested the fix yet, still have some wires I want to check as long as I'm almost thru all of them and apart. Will let you know. Had I not carefully checked every wire and where they were susposed to go from each computer plug pin I could have easily not found this issue and could have been fighting it for ever. Gosh, I hate it when I make mistakes which is more often then I like to admit.

You are correct you can't have those two sensors switched the one after the cat is monitoring efficiency so it's looking for a consistent value not up down up down like your 02. What kind of o2 sensors did you use and part number?

  3. Silverbullet.

WE are working on a forged pistons for the TROOPER 1100 CC.WE are going to change the compresion ratio to 8.5 and have floating piston pins for turbo motors. You can raise the turbo pressure and get more power on pump gas to the wheels We are going to offer total seal rings.Or stock rings you can have a coated piston or not.We are going to offer stock compression ratio forged piston for the guys who wants to rebuild thear motor. We will try to keep the price down.We do not have cost price yet

That's good news I was thinking of trying to find a company to build me some custom pistons. Let me know when you have some ready to go I would love to crank up my waste gate!

  4. Does anyone know an oil pressure sending unit that I can sub out instead of the factory one my second one is toast. I think an old style one off a 70's dodge would work but I can't compare resistance because mine is toast. Does anyone have any ideas or part numbers for something I can get at napa or a resistance spec?

  5. I just completed my fox shock install and it was a bit more work than i expected but the pay off was worth it. I had to redo my front upper shock mounts the new ones were to tall. I took it for a good hard ride and its completely different machine it is one of the better mods i have done so far.

  6. I just installed new fox 2.0 8.5" travel rear shocks on my trooper. I first tried the an 8 inch 350 tender seemed a bit soft so i put a 10 inch 400 that i was going to use on the fronts on the back for a tender and it seems like it holds in up way better. I am going to get an 8 inch 400 for the rear and still use the 10 inch 400 and 8 inch 300 for the front. I havnt tried it out yet but just wondering what everyones thoughts are on this if I should put the 8 inch 350s in or go with the 400s.

  7. My electra steer is working great so far. I have went for a couple rides so far and its flawless. I like hope it has good assist but gives you good feed back. Time will tell if it is the answer I drive in allot of wet conditions so we will see how it holds up in the long run.

  8. What is everyone running for tires on there troopers? I am searching for a set of mud bogger tires for my trooper something in the area of 28 or 29 inch tall and 10.5 wide. I currently have 30 inch mud lights but I think if i go to 6 ply automotive type tire i should go a little smaller for power and to save the axles and diffs.

  9. Your 02 sensor should not cause hard starts because the computer should be in an open loop which means that the computer is using a pre programmed fuel map and not looking at the 02 sensors. Also your sensors need to be hot to be tested some people use a torch but you can hook up the 2 wires on the sensor that are used to pre heat the sensor with 12v to get the system into a closed loop quicker. My trooper used to start bad and surge at idle but it was because it went for a swim and the computer isnt sealed up at all. Anyway hope you find it

  10. Just wondering when this power steering is going to be done? My wife ordered me a kit from silver bullet for xmas and they wont send it to us after 3 months of them saying they were working on it. Anyway spring is coming soon and i need to get something done asap and i dont like the other systems.

  11. I put my turbo on in the spring and I have had no engine trouble at all I have been boroscoping the cylinders watching for wear and so far so good. I build my turbo kit myself I could not bring myself to spend 3 grand on a kit. I am running 30's and run it to the max 10-12psi 50/50 race fuel working great so far best add on by far totally different unit.

  12. actually done all that this spring after having lots of issues last season and it did help but still had issues because of the conditions i am riding in. I am going to put both fuse panels and computer in little pelican cases to solve the problem.

  13. I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the fuses in the panels in our joyners. I ride in lots of muddy wet stuff and blow lots of fuses and end up putting whatever i have in there. So i am at the point were i dont know what goes where anymore. If someone can put on here the fuse order from left to right on the front panel and top to bottom on the rear panel i would appreciate it alot.
