  1. I would say that 40lbs would be at the max pull but I know that when i came out of a creek bed last spring all locked up with 30inch mud lights I had to put out. I am sure that the set up you have is good I will not be running any tracks but maybe some BFG MT's in the future but they shouldnt be harder to turn than the mud lights are. Did you make a electic steering because of the hp loss of hydraulic or the easyer install?

  2. I would be all over a kit like this if it will last with what i am going to throw at it wich will be just about every thing you can think of. How much hp do you think it will robb by pulling off the electrical system or will it be very mimimal?

  3. electric sounds good but has any one done anything to the stock rack? my rack is getting pretty loose and seems pretty poor quality also the steering radius isnt that great. It would be nice to correct all the steering issues all at one time. Any suggestions?

  4. I was wondering if anyone has made any power steering setup's that have worked good. I have looked at the electric power steering on the silver bullet web page but am not sure if it will last on my trooper with all the water i drive in and 30 inch mud lights. Any suggestions?

  5. I agree with the guys mentioning that the IAC can cause idle issues after all it is the idle air controle valve. I just wanted to share an issue i had with my trooper. I chased a hard start issue for a while and after messing around with many checks it turned out to be the computer. The computer isnt sealed what so ever so it is easy to get water into even just with a wash gun. Something to think about if you dont have any luck with your throttle body and IAC could be the brain not telling it what to do properly. GOOD LUCK

  6. I just put an airbox off a 96 dodge caravan behind my rear window right under my spare tire. It works great so far way better than an open filter keeps the rain and mud off it and a big plus was the turbo noise is almost gone. I will try and take some pics

  7. Does the engine crank and not start or not crank at all? If it does not crank check for power on the small wire that goes to your started sylinoid when the ignition is in the start position if there is power there its your starter if not work your way to your ignition switch.

  8. I built a turbo kit for my trooper and it is working really good. I picked up a T15 turbo off ebay and built an exaust manifold for it. The manifold took lots of time and die grinding to get it good but way cheaper than the 3000 Doller kit. I used 1.5 inch abs black plumbing pipe for my air side and picked up a blow off valve from ebay. The FMU fuel manegment unit is a 12:1 ratio I used a vortech. I am running 10 psi boost and 20% racing fuel. I have 30inch itp`s and it turns them awsome way more power than i expected it to make. Before turbo with the big tires it would not rev out in 5th gear now its a non issue. I had an issue with the turbo drain that is in the oil pan already was to small i had to cut a hole in the pan and make a bigger drain. So far it is staying together but time will tell

  9. Ya its the computer its sealed up tight like a screen door. My dealer changed them before just like dropping your phone in the water. I tried it all to and I am a mechanic its the computer buddy almost positive got one coming

  10. Has anyone had bad ecm. I think I do because my fan runs all the time and it leans out and doesn't respond to O2 signal quickly. I replaced the O2 not the issue I have a afr gauge on it and it goes lean but the computer doesn't respond. I can drive part throttle and the engine dies and comes back back and forth fuel pressure and ignition are good. Anyone have a issue like this or have any input?
