It is. It won't move now so it has to be the drive line. I just have bad feeling I won't be able to get to that bearing without pulling the engine. I hope I'm wrong.
-
Thanks. I have it but it's light on details. I think I'm going to have to pull the engine 🤦

After a Christmas parade where I did some sustained high speed driving I heard some metal scraping sound. I thought it was the engine brake at first but after putting it up on jack stands and listening where the sound came from it certainly is the rear shaft area. I'm wondering what has to come off to gain access to the area. Since I have the rear seat version i'm certain the seat has to come off. Definitely can't do it from the bottom, too many crossmembers in the way. Anyone had to replace one? Here's a pic of the one I believe it is. It bound up to the point where it won't move after pulling it off the trailer in two wheel or four wheel drive.

Fixed. It was all one big giant coincidence. The ignition sticking had nothing to do with it. It was an loose wire to the fuel pump relay🤦

Great to hear! Thanks! Any luck with after market front cargo rack or extended roof?
Haven't tried any of those.

Having major issues with my TBoss. Will not start, multiple codes.
Codes are:
1.0122 (TPS low voltage or broken)
2.0201 (injector 1 circuit malfunction) -replaced and persists
3.0031 (02 heater circuit malfunction) -replaced and persists
4.0351 (cylinder 1 ignition coil malfunction)Fixed:. Was a split wire on the fuel pump relay.
-
Replaced and nothing now. Uggh so frustrating.
-
Haven't had much of an issue with mine. I've been in mud up to the pedals and it's been fine.
-
Started focusing on the 02 sensor since I pulled the codes and one of them points to an error. Also looked at this diagram and thought maybe all the codes start at a bad 02 sensor which control the injector and ignition coils. Anyways, pulled the sensor out of the exgy but left it hooked up, hit it with a screwdriver and left it sitting on the tire. Fired right up and held idle for a few minutes. I'm happy with a little progress. I ordered a new one, will replace and report back.

Btw, just went and pulled the injector. I watched it while cranking. It hesitates after turning the key, doesn't spray for a good two seconds and only once. That can't be normal can it? Shouldn't it keep pulsing while turning over?

Voltage regulator maybe?

Went trail riding Monday evening. Came home and rinsed the machine, started it up and drove around back to put it away. Noticed a weird sound but dismissed it. When I turned it off, I noticed the key clicked one too many times. So the key was stuck on for about 3 minutes. Went to start it up Wednesday and it wouldn't crank. It would catch for a second or two and shut right off.
1. Checked fuel (plenty)
2. Fuel flow, injector was not pulsing fuel (replaced, still not pulsing but once)
3. Codes thrown are 0031 (02s heater circuit high voltage) 0351 (cylinder 1 ignition coil malfunction) 0201 (injector 1 circuit malfunction)
How can that many things go wrong at once? Why would it throw an Injector fault when I replaced it and confirmed it working? Wonder if something else is wrong that those things plug into? Any help would be appreciated.

1100 miles on mine. Good to go.

OK, I see now "how" you got it registered--the dealer in 2018-2019 most likely had a counterfeit MCO (that's about the period covered by the FLDHSMV alert) claiming it to be an LSV. They then tried to cover their backside by getting you to turn in the tag, but you didn't bite--good thinking there!
The Tax Collector's Office is mostly brain dead, they'll renew it forever as long as you fork over their blood money...
Bingo. That makes sense now. I was missing something. Didn't see how it could be registered legitimately without DOT approved tires, windshield etc. Wish I got mine through a shady dealer😕😁

HISUN lied, they produce the BANCHI which IS a low speed vehicle. Which basically is the same as my MASSIMO 800 MSU. Except the BENCHI has one more digit in the vin#! In Fl a low speed vehicle is supposed to be max speed 25, I guess so if they're on the highway they are in the way like a bicycle, scooter etc! Friend (or former friend) bought one in 2019 and it runs 40 mph. It is registered.
It's registered in Florida? Which county? What machine does he own?
Thanks

Did you get your SXS plated?
My Honda is plated in SD. We winter near the Ocala National Forest, we'd like to ride from our RV park to the forest, it's only a mile of state highway to and from. It's converted to "street legal" in SD., turn signals, horn, DOT tires.......... and a SD. plate. Can I drive it on FL. roads?
We didn't bring it along this year, but I've been riding my motorcycle around in the forest and it looks like and excellent place to ride the SXS. We'll bring it next time if we can ride it without having to haul it back and forth. Different states treat it different. Utah anywhere but federal highways. MO. county roads only not state highways. CO. it varies.
I haven't plated it yet. From what I can see, you need DOT tires and windshield. I'm not sure how strict they are with those but that's what I read you need for inspection.
The Ocala National Forest is a fantastic place to ride. Once a year we'll stay at a KOA nearby and ride the trails. My T-Boss is able to keep up with all others. At the end of the ride they were all asking about the machine, they were impressed.

Something similar happened to mine. Ended up being the relay.

I got my 2021 t-boss 550x golf plated and titled here in Cincinnati Ohio.
Did you have to take it up and get it inspected?

Thanks man.

Thank you so much. I think this is the same machine as the Coleman Outfitter 550. Does yours have an inline fuel filter? Some of the Outfitters don’t, and there’s not a easy access place to cut the fuel line and add one. When did they switch to Linhai engines?
I heard they switched to Linhai a few years ago after having bad luck with the Hisun engine.

I think I see a fuel canister mounted on the frame rail. Maybe the T-Boss and Outfitter aren’t the same machine?
Yep, that's the fuel filter canister you see in the last pic. I'm unsure if the Outfitter is the same, hopefully someone will pop in and specify. Do the above pics look anything like yours?
As far as the relay goes, the one I posted above I bet would work with yours. A relay is a relay, you just have to match up the amperage. The one from Amazon above is 30/40 amp so it could easily run a fuel pump, just have to make sure what each wire does before connecting.

Bad bearing on a 2019 T-Boss 550 Golf, how to attack? **Update**

Wasn't the drive line after all. It was the CVT cover bearing. After tearing in to the front and rear drive lines (sounded like the scraping was coming from here) and finding no problems I finally isolated the problem in the transmission. Got the parts today and will put them in tomorrow. I'll attach a picture of what bearing I'm talking about.
