Tried removing spark plug and remained the same. Will be replacing the solenoid today.

We have a 21 Buck 250 that will not start. Replaced the battery with new fully charged battery. The lights dim and there is a click like the starter is trying to engage. Every once in a while the engine will turn one revolution slowly and then we are back to the same situation of nothing. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue or know what could be causing it. Thank you
