I'd been searching the property for several days, looking for the lost cross bar that is critical to mounting the snow plow & had just gone to a welding shop to have them fabricate a new one, based on the pictures & rough measurements, when I finally found the missing part - it was in my garden. I was able to get to the welding shop before they closed & cancel the order - I now have all the pieces to re-mount the snow plow.
three days ago, I asked St. Anthony for assistance in finding the missing part. Our property is about 13 acres & it could have been anywhere. I looked in all the likely places that we normally drive the UTV - and today, my dog was wandering around the front field, looking for a place to poop. I figured I'd take advantage of the time & look around the field - but to no avail. Then, I went over by the garden & noticed that the big hummingbird garden ornament w/ solar light was in shambles, as if it had been run over. I picked it up & was untangling it, when i happened to look across the garden & saw the metal control arm (it's about 2 feet long). I made sure to thank St. Anthony - now I'm back in business for the next big snow storm that is supposed to hit in about a week.
I'm still open to a new plow option - but for now, I'm golden.
