My wife and I bought the MSU 850-5 two weeks ago. No action photos yet. Trailered it up to our North western, property in the lower Michigan peninsula. The county had blocked our 1/4 mile long driveway with their snowplows. So we parked on the road, unloaded her and went climbing over the snow hill. She handled it beautifully. Parked her in the garage, then trudged the 1/4 mile back through the snow, then headed back down state. Can't wait for some of the snow to melt off. We'll break it in and post some pictures.

Do not trust Massimo! I went online to their store and was looking at the 850-5. Their website showed the 2026's were sold out. I emailed them to see when they would be available again. I got a reply that they wouldn't have any more available THIS YEAR BUT HE HAD A "Demo" 2023 model with 50 miles that would be $3,000 cheaper. We decided to go with that and bought it online. I was at work when it arrived. If I had been home I would have sent it back. I'm 6' 3" tall. I can't fit in it to operate it. IT DOESN'T HAVE AN ADJUSTABLE SEAT! My knees were smashed against the dash and the shifter. I can't pull my right leg up and over for the accelerator and brake. My wife is 5'8" and she barley fit.  It's dangerous for her to operate because she's so close that she can't keep from smashing the accelerator to the floor and she can hardly get her foot up and over to the brake. I got an MSO (manufacturers statement of origin} for titling in my county and after looking in the glove box there was another MSO for the same vehicle that was made out to a guy from Georgia in 2023. I'm in Texas and it's 2026. I contacted the county I live in and found out that I can't title it if I wanted to. They gave me the Texas DMV's number and found out that you can't issue a new MSO after two years from the first one being generated. Now the Texas DMV is getting involved. Massimo will not reply to my emails or phone calls. I have to get a lawyer now to get my money back. It was not a new "Demo" The guy from Georgia put 50 miles on it and sent it back probably for the same reason I don't want it. It's sad because it looks like a nice rig and had everything I wanted, but can't use.

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!

Hello. I have a 2016 Massimo MSU 500. I was putting on a lightbar and i screwed up and didn't disconnect the battery so when i was taking of the positive cable to put on the power from the lightbar it sparked and now the utv has no power. I turn the key over and all i hear is a chirp. No lights or anything. Everything that comes from the battery to the jumper box up by the battery shows voltage but anything coming out does not such as to the winch or anything like that

My 2018 Massimo MSU 500 was operating just fine.  I parked it for 2 weeks in my shop now the unit starts and runs great but at 18 MPH it cuts out. It's not the seatbelt safety switch that engages at 10 MPH if it is unbuckled. I purchased a new ECU but that did not resolve the problem. No error code is presented. I reset the ECU replaced the fuel injector, coil, sparkplug and spark plug wire. Same response. I don't mind replacing faulty components but don't want to chase parts and hope for the best. Any ideas??

I parked my 2018 Massimo MSU500 in a clean shop for two weeks. When I brought it out for routine ranch work it started cutting out at 18MPH. It's not the seatbelt safety switch, if the belt is not buckled that engages at 10 MPH. I replaced the ECU, fuel injector, coil, plug wire and spark plug. No error code is presented. I put the original ECU back in and reset it then adjusted the idle to 1800 rpm. I don't mind replacing faulty components but don't want to blindly parts chase hoping for the best. Does anyone have experience with a similar situation??

DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM HISUN Period! I had the axis 700 for 2 months when a rat or squirrel ate both wiring harnesses. (Main & ECM)Wanna know why? Because the manufacture of these things in their infinite wisdom use either, a soybean oil or a peanut oil to run the wires through the the wire loom. Hmmm i wonder why they would be inclined to eat the wires. So now I have $10K machine that I've only had for 2 months when all this happened and they will not warranty it at all. It is going to cost me $800 to $1000 to get this fixed. Here is a link to a video showing where we took our Hisun notice how many are there:

So counting mine, there are 16 of Hisun Axis on the lot that i took in for authorized dealer, with the exact same problem, plus other troubles that the mechanic explained to me. This particular place told me they are not going to work on them anymore. I will be posting this in as many places as possible to reach the masses. I hope its worth Hisun!
