I have recently acquired a Massimo MSU 500.  When driving and taking a fairly sharp turn while giving it a little gas it tends to tear the grass out on the right rear.  It seems the rolling resistance is real high when turning.  It can be seen on gravel when turning as the rear wheels will dig in quite a bit if turning and give it a little gas to get it moving .  It definitely does not roll easily. Is this normal?  Is possible that the transfer case or the locks could be stuck.  The previous owner seemed to primarily use the UTV in 4x4 mode lock for plowing I believe.   the machine has very low miles something like 150 miles only.  

Second question.  I am doing some service on engine air cleaner.  the filter I have has a large  screw in the top of it that retains the foam covering.  Question is:  Is this screw removable?  any tricks?  Is it red lock tighted?   I have used a large screw driver and a lot of torque  but it does not budge.   Should I just stretch the foam over the foam capture rings for so I  can wash and clean?

the rear has no differential to slip or manual unlocking capability.. its direct drive to both rear wheels full time.. One tire must slip to turn sharply.. They both pull 100% of the time.. its hard to turn tight corners..   Dont drive  on your nice lawn.. Wifey will be pissed at the  horseshoe divets

      Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

      I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC

      I have an 850. It’s been overheating. The electric fan is not kicking on. I see the temperature switch going into the radiator, but there’s no wire plugging in to it or none to be found in the area. i’m thinking I might’ve hooked on a branch and it ripped out the harness on that part. Does anybody have a picture or no where that plugs into on the harness? On the top of the firewall, I did notice some plugs that have nothing plugged into it. I was wondering if it’s a harness that goes from there down to the radiator that was pulled off

      Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

      Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it. 
      Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming. 
      Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light. 
      Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
