  1. Motor starts right up no issues. Idles fine, increases RPMs when accelerator is pressed fine....it just won't keep the battery charged when I put it in gear and turn the lights on, if I were to let it idle long enough with no lights and never putting it in gear it would eventually pop the low battery signal as well. New AGM Battery, New Starter solenoid, new voltage regulator and new stator. My son and I have it torn down to the flywheel rotor right now and once I locate the 35mm x 1.5 puller I am going to remove the flywheel rotor and try and locate the part number so I can look to replace it as well. At this point I just go down the line to the next possible issue and replace. Wash rinse repeat.
  2. Onto the next problem, everything has been replaced in the charging system except the Flywheel Rotor, I have it torn apart all the way down to said rotor, but it is suggested that a specific puller is required, and a compatible rotor seems virtually impossible to find. I can find many like it, but this one is mine scenario for those that get the reference. For all I know I have the last Massimo Buck 400S on the planet and will never find another part again, but who knows. Any ideas, help or otherwise that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Here is the part that got put in, it came with a new voltage regulator as well.
  4. So yes, I had a guy locally who works on all different types of motors, and he found a stator and voltage regulator and swapped them out. UTV starts right up and runs as it should but the gasket that came with the stator was the wrong size, so he used liquid gasket and I think he missed a spot or a bolt need tightened to stop a slow oil drip. The part was found somehow through amotopart.com. It seemed a little sketchy working around the site and tracking process but turned out as legitimate as I could expect. All that said, when I begin driving and using lights the low battery warning starts flashing but when I stop and shut everything off it goes away....everything I am reading is suggesting corroded wires(which I don't see), loose connections (which I don't see) or a battery that is unable to receive charge. So, I am currently onto the next thing which is a battery compatible as the one in the Buck when I bought it according to google is not the correct type.
  5. Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated. New starter solenoid....check New Voltage Regulator...check. Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.
  6. I recently purchased a 2019 or 2020 (no manual) Massimo 400S Buck Series UTV. It ran fine for a couple days but the low battery light was flashing while it drove. It then died in the field one day and I was able to jump the battery and get it rolling enough to get back to the barn. It started both times I turned the key for a couple days after and when driven died 10 minutes later in the driveway. Even after jumping it had no juice, but with the key out of the ignition it kept trying to start, a quick look on the Google machine and it suggested starter solenoid or ignition switch was the culprit. Fair enough, let's just order a replacement solenoid, right? No way Jose....the pin connector on the UTV is a 2-pin white plastic connector and the part received is a 4 pin. How do I swap that and make it work? Can I even? Where do I find correct parts in the future?
