  1. Since no one has replied ... It has to do with the CVT.  CVT use centrifugal weights to adjust the spacing of the clutch cones based upon engine RPM and vehicle speed which, in turn, changes the ratio of the drive clutch and the driven clutch.  Tuning is simply going to heavier weights or lighter weights based upon the type of riding you do.  Do a search on "CVT Clutch Tuning" for some excellent articles, one of which is on this site:

  2. I've been enjoying the site for a few months.  When I got my Renegade, I just had to sign up.  Thanks!  I'm thinking of putting together a review on my Renegade (likes, dislikes and mods).  It won't be 100% complete because I still have a lot to learn and investigate.

  3. New to the forum, of course.  Just bought a used R2 with an 1100cc engine.  Don't know why it took so long for Joyner to do that with the Renegade.  Hope to learn a lot about my machine.?
