    My starter has finally given up. It will click when trying to start but not engage. I can jump the terminals on the solenoid to start it. Can the solenoid be rebuilt or is a new starter what I have to find. Thanks in advance. Kenny

    I unplugged mine and it wouldn't start and run. Kind of fired a little bit but wouldn't catch. Should it have started and run? Thanks for the help!

    There was quite a selection to chose from. Have you tried any of them and they didn't work? I just searched for "idle air control for an 800cc chery engine".

    I think this part is causing a high idle problem(4000 rpm at start up) in my 04 R4 Joyner. I took it out and cleaned it and the problem went away. I just went out to start my SXS and it's idle jumped up to 4 grand again. Can someone tell me what this part is called so I can search for a new one. Or can you point me towards a source. Thanks in advance. Kenny

    I found an old picture that had what is missing. I am wondering if the "cap" needs to "flex" with the vacuum of the intake or if I can make up a solid plug. Thanks for any and all help. Kenny

    I forgot to say it's a 2004 R4 1100cc Chery engine. When it's running it idles WAY high, 6k rpms. If I put my finger over the fitting the idle drops down to normal. Is this supposed to be plugged or a hose hooked on that goes somewhere. I haven't found a broken hose or a plug of some sort. Thanks, Kenny

    Sad to admit, my project has taken the back seat to other things. I am wondering though, how much has to be removed to add the power steering unit? Hood, dash...? Thanks, Kenny

    It was there! Along with everything else, except the airbag. Going to start stripping the un-nessesary things and then ill be back for info on how to wire it up. ALL wiring looks like spaghetti to me. Thanks again! Kenny

    I ordered the steering column from the local wrecking yard ( they didn't have one on hand) $150.00 with tax. He didnt know if it would come with the control unit though. Was yours connected to the column? It should be here this afternoon! Thanks! Kenny

    Thanks mixfixdave!!! Is the ecu for the whole car? or just for the steering? We have 12 grandkids with #13 on the way. Gotta keep em busy. I' not familiar with new cars, AT ALL, they dont need a pump and rack? Thanks for the help! Kenny

    I have a 2004 R4 that has armstrong steering and I would like to add Power steering to it, if its not to difficult. Grand kids cant drive it, is that a good thing?, nah. Any help would be appreciated. Later, Kenny
