  1. FYI to everyone, aefron88 states that there is a bleeder value by the hose, on mine there is not. I have been having a lot of issues with our machine. I am finding out that Coleman used a few different engines and configurations. So all the manual's you see my not be correct. To bad we can't sue them for all of the issues.
  2. So the leaking is because part 23 is damaged and had come apart when I took off the Impeller to clean it. my bad for not paying attention to this when I had the engine out of the chassis. I ordered a new water seal from https://www.motorcycledoctor.com/checkout/order-received/23632/?key=wc_order_v3q9nFrtImCjy The delivery was 3 days, so I didn't have to wait long for the part and they are the only one I could find that had the part in stock. Taking out the old part was a pain. saf344g I only disconnected the engine from the chassis along with other misc items need to be taken off to rotate the engine enough to get to the part. Also disconnected the gas tank to shift it backward so I could get in there.
  3. Not sure if you have figured this out yet, but there is not fix via the shifter/cable, the engine needs to be torn apart and a new part installed. Coleman said F U! and will not help. There needs to be a law suite brought against them for this issue.
  4. I just reassembled the engine to fix the shifting issue. I ran the unit for about 15 min and it started to overheat. I thought it was an air lock and let the unit cool down and opened the radiator cap and head burping and then looked under the machine to find coolant. I found where it is leaking from, see attached photo 1. I added coolant and it doesn't leak until the fan starts. When I put the engine back together I may have installed something incorrectly? Image#2 one shows a part that I was not sure where it goes, I ended assuming it was part number 23 in image #3. Is this correct? Could this part be the issue why I am getting leaking? attached photo 1 image 2 image 3
  5. Sorry kJ they don’t give a rats ass about us and stop selling the unit and will not admit to there mistakes. https://alpha-sports.com/coleman_parts.htm?q=coleman_parts the unit to pick is outfitter400/utv400 the issue is truly with the a part in the center of the engine.
  6. I have the answer, received it from Jose, the dude with the part to fix the shifting issue. Washer #1 is in the correct location, washer 2 will go on the same shaft as #1 but after the gear and bearing, and just push it on over the rubber gasket. His video is here - so thanks Jose!
  7. Putting the engine back together after replacing Jose's part so it will shift into F & R correctly. When I took the two half's apart these two washers had fallen from some where and I want to make sure they go back where they belong. Washer # 1 I am assuming goes here... No clue where #2 would go. Any help would be grateful. I have the service manual and I do not see washer #2 in any diagram. I wash thinking that #1 is #26 and #2 would be ? Also If #1 is #26 there is one not two of them, so I am also wondering if they didn't put all washer in or this service manual is not correct.
  8. Butcher6868, with your replies I am assuming you have fixed your shifting issue with Jose's part. I got the engine apart so I can get to the piece, but I am having a brain fart and can not figure out how to get the shifting shaft out so I can remove the original piece and weld on the new, what am I missing?
  9. Yes, just this morning. I was able to get it out and the engine is out of the chassis.

  11. Did you do this? I don’t understand how I can move the rear axle backwards. Everything is bolted to the frame. I don’t want to undo all of that also or do I need to? doesn’t make sense that I can’t take that u joint apart. Seams to be a much easier solution than unbolting the axle.
  12. I am trying to deal with the shifting issue this piece of ..... has. I have the part that Jose made from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPU22uKW01Y&t=13s I have the engine loose except for the drive shafts. I have no idea how to take them apart from the engine, looked for videos or directions and have not found anything. (maybe I am not using the correct terms when searching) Looking for help on how to take this apart, so I can lift the engine out and work on it.

  14. I started complaining to Coleman 4 months after I purchased it new from Tractor Supply and received 0 help and pretty much a F You from them. I fixed it to late and today I have no gears left. Will not go into reverse and I am assuming I will need to do the transmission. Suck a piece of crap! Speed thousands on machine that is worthless! I have not started looking for replacement parts, but assuming that I will not be able to find them.......
  15. This is the issue, it is a know issue that Coleman will not deal with. Go to this post to fix the issue. I did this, but it was to late of a fix and now I have to replace the transmission. Gear are "F*^ k e d"
  16. I adjusted the cable, it took me a few tries also. But seams to be working good now, hope it last.
  17. Yes all others that we looked at where 2x as much. I am starting to think it would have been worth buying others.

  19. I beleive I figure out the issues was that the cable that supposed to plugged into that, was not. It was just hanging down. Never was plugged in from the manufacture.
  20. I don't think someone disconnect it, I bought this machine new, I beleive it was never connected. I have been tring for over a year to get coleman to deal with the issues, but they will not help me. I have even filed a BBB complant and they would not even reply to them. So I need to try to figure out the issues. This being connected to the voltage regulator will probally fix one of the issues I have been having, the battery icon always turning on and off. Fingers crossed. Thank you
  21. That was where it goes, thought it might fix my problem with the odomiter not working but it didn't. I wounder what it is for as I didn't notice anything else light up on the dash.

  23. I have alot of issues with this machine that I'm trying to figure out and fix. Today when I was fixing the shifter I see this cable connection that is not connected to anything. I looked and can't find where it might need to be. Any ideas would be greatfull.
  24. Tonight, I finally got to doing this and it fixed my issue with the machine popping out of gear. I did it slightly differently, by cutting the existing and welding a piece on to it, to make up the 3/4". I'm not a welder so the welds are not pretty.
