  1. Here they are. The doors zip down and I just took it for it's 1st spin with it on and surprisingly, it's not to bad vision but not as good as glass.post-85-1224626721_thumb.jpgpost-85-1224626862_thumb.jpg

    Cheers Mike

I dont look bad.. I thought it would be a lil tighter on it though. thats good that it is as clear as glass

  2. I received a full canvas enclosure for a Trooper last week and it's not bad, but I will make a few changes with it to make it user friendly. In it's current form, the front wind screen can't be zipped down and it takes to long to put on & take off. I'm thinking ether a zip for the front screen or cut that section off completely and add Velcro hook & loop strips. The other change would be to add pop dome hardware instead of eyelets for the existing bolts to fasten into. The reason for these changes are two fold. Firstly, on a hot day or when the front screen gets very muddy, it needs to come off and secondly to get it off you have a lot of unscrewing to do including removing the light bar. Pop domes are the same as what's used in the marine industry and bolt straight into the existing hardware. It's a no-brainier really. I'll post photos of the un-modified enclosure on the Trooper soon.

    Cheers Mike.

I havent seen one of those yet... im still waiting on my hard enclosure 2...

  3. Ah yes, the cold season, got frost and snow here in "heaven". Snow on the mountains, but a warm spell coming for a few day and my son's heading for the dunes and I can't walk because of my ankle fusion and wheel chairs (temp) don't work well in the sand. :(

I have my photos at http://community.webshots.com/user/kinarfi and I even have a short movie for you from the passenger side.

4x4x454, sounds like what I had to endure when I lived in Wyo. the snow never melted, just blew back and forth until it wore out.

oh you have beautful places to ride! and that video just really shows how smooth the trooper is!!! I love it...thank you!!
  4. Hello congrats on the little on. COLD COLD WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT COLD? I LIVE 80 miles from Canada I have seen snow every month of the year. Every year we get a cold snap that will be -30 that's below 0. I have seen -60 without wind chill. And then we will be 110 in the summer not every summer but most. A Few years ago it was cold all summer long we got snow on the 5th of July. But its all good.

thank you.... and that exactly why i dont live there!!! Thats just way way way too dang cold!!! I can't even take it here when it gets in th 50's... :)

  5. It is really nice to have a site that we actually can talk on with out people talking trash about everyone elses vehicle of choice. Its not our fault they were jealous... hehe.. .It is just really nice to have people who have the same interest instead of everyone talking trash. I have been on many forums and this is now my fav. I have had to delete my accounts with them because it would get so bad... Im glad to be a part of this place!

  6. Hey guys n gals.... how is the weather out there? I just want to ask you all to send some pics of you riding to me... Since i am currently 7 months preg. and haven't been able to ride I want to see all my buds riding! Well the cool weather is about to be here in Kentucky... ick... I am an original floridian so cold=me being sick... but i guess i will have to get use to it huh... Have a good one everybody!

  7. Wow, I just changed the oil in my Diffs and I think I should have done more often. When I drained the front diff, the oil was dark and looked like it was full of metal, when I drained the rear, it looked like liquid aluminum with pearl powder. The transmission oil looked normal and like it didn't really need changing. I have 2530 km on the front diff and less on the read because the dealer had to fix my locker. What did your oil look like and how often do you change it?

Also, when I drop the skid plates, the bolt turns when I try to undo the nut and I can't get a screw driver on to bolt, so after I get the bolt out, I put nail head into the phillips slot and weld the nail to the bolt so it can't turn. Works well. As soon as I get a Photo, I'll add it this post.

    10 hour or 250 miles

    40 hour or 250 miles

    40 hour or 500 miles

    80 hour or 750 miles

    120 hour or 1000 miles

This is what is in the joyner paperwork when they want you to service it at first... I can ask if you want to know after these miles and hours when you need to do service work on them...

    ~Meg

  8. Joyner shows on the website that there is suppose to be a dealer in Las Vegas, we have driven by several times in the last few months and saw very little being done to the building. I tried calling the number listed and it went straight to voice mail so I gave up and called Joyner and found out its a commercial store not a dealership. We have to drive to Bull Head City, AZ or to Mesquite, NV if we need service. OK I'm bummed out officially.........

I'm sorry to hear that. Well if you are ever needing parts... I can always get that for you! I can have them drop shipped straight to you, and I always go lower than Joyners msrp on everything:)

  9. Is the bottom of the roof rack made out of the same material as the back of the T2/T4? Would it work to keep rain and sun off of you or would it be in addition to the hard top?

I have seen people use the roof rack as just a roof...and it will keep the sun and water off of you. I have never road in one with just a roof rack in the rain but if it still drizzles on you some you can always take some of this plastic like material and fill around the roof rack and the cage where there is a little space. I will find out what those one people used.

  10. Cool, are the looking for any more help? :D

Maybe you can give us some heads up on known problems and fixes. If it won't cause you problems.

    Jeff

I will def. let you guys know of anything.. but Joyner has done a lot last year improving the vehicles so we shouldnt see any problems :) If a spot comes open for Joyners here I will def. let you know:)

  11. MegZ, I have seen the catalog on TJ USA's site. Do you know anything about a Hard Enclosure for the T4 yet ? I need a $ asap for someone.

    Cheers Mike

I'm still waiting on to hear when we can get the 4 seat renegade and 4 seat trooper... but we have a Camo t2 enclosure coming and guess what... I just sold it two days ago.... So we may paint it to put on our red one or blue one...to pimp it up:) I will send pics when it happens.. I will keep my ears open also and if I hear anything about the 4 seat enclosures I will let you know.

  12. MegZ, there is always something on the go over here. As for sales, man it's bad. Every retail sector is feeling pain & lots of it. When America sneezes, we get a cold, now America's got the flu we are got in the well you know what. The weather is spot on at the moment and was going for a blast this Saturday but something else popped up. I went for a spin a couple of weeks ago & although the track was easy, I enjoyed it. I saw your bump pics & yep she's on her way. If you get to a couple of weeks over due, go for a gentle ride to get things moving along.

    Cheers Mike.

You know things did slow down here for a bit in June and july but now its back to the norm with lots of customers looking, talking, and trying to buy! The economy is not doing great...and thats a fact. Have you seen the new 09 catalog yet? let me know its BAD A$$!!!! The t2 hard enclosure is by far one bad outfit! I love it!!!

  13. We love our T4,it is an awesome machine. This summer we took it on a black trail in Utah that we had ridden previously on our Sportsmans. On the quads we were all very tired and in the T4 we were looking for more trails to go on. There is nothing out there that can beat a Trooper (IMO). We always have people stop us and want information, George and Lance have even taken people out on the trail to show them what it can do. Its so funny we met a couple that George took out for a ride and they were renting a SxS (trying to figure out what to buy), they took that one out brought it back traded it in on a different brand, took that one out and returned it. The husband later spoke to my husband and let him know that he was going home and buying a T4. I think the fact that Trooper owners are willing to talk to people about the quality and fun aspects of the T2/T4 is the key to us be accepted over the so called name brands.

We're located in Henderson, Nevada just outside Las Vegas. Right now we don't have a dealer here but I know one is suppose to be coming, I can't wait. By the way you're so lucky to be able to work with something you love!

By the way did I read that you're expecting? Congratulations!

    Cinda

Oh why thank you! I can't wait until she gets here! We get stopped so much over here it is crazy! Everyone is like what is that..where did it come from...how much does it cost! lol I love the way they ride...So comfy and can climb any rock in its way! Don't worry though Joyners will be just as known as the competetors here soon! :) once people find out how great they are and how impressive the pricing is... you really cant beat it... like you said thats my own opinion... I have rode them all and these are what I love:) I attached a lil preg. pic lol have a good one!!!
  14. I do work for a Joyner dealer:) It's pretty awesome to be surrounded by the vehicles you love and ride yourself. They got them in here and called me pretty much and was like we have the perfect job for you... I was thinking what do they want me to clean or something... and then I seen what they were wanting me to do... so now I have the dream job any rider would love!!!

  15. Welcome Cinda... you are from riding az too...right? How is the trooper? :) Great I assume... I just got a a 4 seat trooper (red) in and it was BEAUTIFUL... but already gone of course... I cant keep em in stock. Which is not a surprise considering the great price, awesome set up...and a machine that can handle any kind of terrain you hand it. :) Where about do you live?

  16. I love the troopers!!! Whats going on bro hows the riding over there? Been busy? We sure have... I can't wait until lil Emerie gets here so I can ride once again. I kind of got tricked into a ride when I was just suppose to be going in the parade...well they took everyone who was in the parade straight to the ride... and ending up being on a trail for hours and hours. :o I was kind of scared for the baby...but since the Joyners are so smooth riding it wasnt as hard on her as riding something else. The doc said she was fine...so she has got her first ride in the womb... haha I just cant wait until she can experience on herself..with her bad a$$ mom of course:)
