  1. Thank y'all for the reply.. I just realized it deleted my other question when posting. Do y'all know what hose or cap goes to the small hose barb on the rear of the water pump? I can't find it in diagrams and there's nothing on my 500
  2. So... I have just finished rebuilding the 500 (bought it with low compression). The rebuild was successful runs great. But, I'm not circulating water. I've been trying to read through the forms to figure this out and I'm going through the process of trying to bleed or replace my water pump either way there is a hose barb.
  3. Hey guys im in the process of rebuilding my massimo 500, and like a dummy I did not mark the cam. Im having a harder time finding timing info than i thought. Can anyone give me a no bs way to where and how i need to align the crank and cams to time this thing? Im still trying to learn how to properly time motors so any dumming down would be appreciated.
  4. So I got this Massimo 500 a couple months ago and ive been trying to figure out what goes here. I cant find any diagrams or anything to help.
  5. just picked up a massimo msu 500 for cheap, previous owner toasted the top end and it will definately need a rebuild, my curiosity is since alot of 700 parts crossover with the 500, would it work to drop a top end kit and head on a 500 lower? or would it have to be a complete engine swap? and would a 700 fit in a 500 easily?
