  1. Thanks but think I found the critter , the cam pressure relief spring had broken had to remove the head again to make sure nothing got crushed , but found everything installed new spring put back together , but made sure that the timing marks were where they were supposed to be , adjusted valve springs and it started right up, ran for a few seconds and I believe some garbage got into the fuel system , but thats for tomorrow problem solving !! ROFL thank's for sharing
  2. thanks, still trying to find out what the hell E-200 trouble code is
  3. Okay working on a neighbors 550 outfitter , pulling a trouble code E-200 , NOT IN MANUAL and even the Mfg. cannot answer this question , figured it had something to do with timing due to timing chain being really loose and jumping gears , so pulled apart new timing chain and oil pump chain alligned timing marks . and piston wasn't in BTDC position, and with the keyways alligned did what manual said , so after pulling apart and installing all new IAT sensor , coil, and cleaning throttle body , pulling these codes 200,113, 351 , then I find out this machine was at a coleman dealership for 7 weeks and they just gave up , I can't do that , so if anyone out there can tell me what the hell a E-200 trouble code is will greatly appreciate it !!
  4. No only page , thats what I am saying no E200 , dealership has to contact the MFG. in China to find out before they will even say anything , but did a compression check and bleed down test , then check top end and things didnt look right so opened up to check timing chain and the damn thing is as loose as hell and adjuster is completely extended and now I am thinking the chain just jumped out and slipped and the whole thing is 180 out so fun times ahead
  5. I have all the tools needed , I work on my own stuff which are Polaris's looking at this for a Neighbor because he took it to a coleman dealership and they had it for 7 weeks and gave it back all apart , so he asked me to take a look at it , just running into a lot of things I have never seen , and the coleman manuals are incomplete when it comes to trouble codes Example no reference to Code E200 , which I know is electrical from the E in front of the code, was told that a new Brain was installed prior to me looking at it, was also told that my neighbor was told that it had to be flashed to his perticular machine, which I have never heard of ? , but I am going to check compression and timing chain play ,just never have had electrical current come through a plug wire just by turning the key on and this kind of back pressure come out through the air intake !! so Know what to check but figured I would ask people who own this perticular model, thanks
  6. yep fuel pump is operating as it should, new injector, coil, mass air flow sensor , new problem getting shock through spark plug line when key is turned on , but more interested in what the trouble code is that E200 , not in manual have you or anyone else have this one pop up ??
  7. yep checked every fuse and had the battery on a tender over night
  8. Installed new coil , and still wouldn't start have several other post's on here trying to figure this thing out , but did find make a new discovery , while plug is out and connected to the plug wire and lay next to frame turn the key in the one position , it sparks threw the plug cap and when you turn it over sparks as it should, but did discover that by removing air filter and spraying starter fluid down the tube and turn key to turn over it spews fluid back out like it's turning over in reverse !! and that I cannot figure , even if it jumped timing it wouldm't be doing that ??
  9. Okay working on a coleman 550 outfitter , new coil, spark plug , inline fuel filter, injector, mass air sensor , code for coil is gone but have another new code pop up E200 called dealership and they had no idea what that meant, have checked wiring harness and ECM was replaced , and yes downloaded PDF manual and it doesn't show this perticular code anyone have any ideas ?? thanks
  10. working on a coleman 550 out fitter , had a shit load of codes, coil, injector , and the map sensor for fuel injector replaced all 3 and figured it would start , but no joy have spark (new plug also and inline fuel filter) cleared the codes and still have the engine light , turns over fine but damn thing still will not start, friends daughters were driving it and turned it off to park , and went back to start it and same thing turns over but will not start , with this machine anyone have any ideas as to what the hell , I should be looking for , no plug's unplug checked wires none seem to be pulled apart or broken !
