Trying to find a flip down windshield for my Hisun Vector 500. (Not Sector) I've found that with this brand of sxs theres just not much available yet as far as upgrades, accessories etc as you would find for the more popular brands. Anyone know of a place I can get stuff for my buggy or if theres other brand accessories that can fit this brand?

Okay guys, this Vector 500 is killing me. Hisun 500cc engine (Chinese) About a year ago while riding slowly, I heard a tink and UTV turned off and would not start. Checked everything long story short, timing chain jumped off lower sprocket, slightly bent the cam sprocket phasers. Bought new chain and cam sprocket, set everything back to timing position, mounted chain on lower shaft sprocket and upper cam sprocket. Set the tensioner, cranked and poof, chain once again jumped off lower shaft sprocket. Again, repeated proper timing settings, remounted chain, cranked and poof again and again and again, chain keeps jumping off lower sprocket. Just to be clear, valves, piston and all components are look in great condition. Can't see shaft sprocket but to the finger behind the tight squeeze, all sprockets seem to be in place, or maybe not. Tired of fiddling with it. This was bought brand new at Home Depot and has less than 200 hrs in the past 3 years. Don't tell me to warranty it as that expired one year in. Talked manufacture out of McKinney TX and service tech was no help. My question to you, what am I missing? What next? Dumbfounded 🤔

My HiSun Vector 500 started just fine as usual this morning and I was removing if from my shop. Later as I tried to restart, it made a clinging noise and won’t start. It will run for a couple of seconds then seems to almost backfire but doesn’t and has a strange noise coming from the exhaust pipe. A totally different sound as usual and then just stops. What could have to it happened? Help!!!

My hisun vector 500 will not start. It has spark and is getting fuel. It is currently in the low 20’s temp outside. Unit is in my barn but the barn isn’t heated. Could the no start be because of the low temps or something else? Unit only has about 20 hours on it.

I was looking at purchasing a 2017 Hisun vector 500, used of course. The seller is selling it cheap stating the machine had "an unknown oil leak" and his kids ran it low on oil causing the timing chain to brake. I am not familiar with small engines, but with what is being described, wouldn't this result in some damage to other internal components as well? Just trying to get an idea if the machine is worth fixing or would it likely need a complete engine/overhaul to make it right before I entertain the thought of purchasing it.

Wife said UTV stopped running and cannot restart. I checked the battery, it was good. I checked the fuse box, no blown fuses. Whe I tried to start, the starter had a thump noise one time, and the starter relay wires were hot. I replaced the relay, nothing. I then replaced the starter and still the same symptoms. It won't start and relay wires hot. Any ideas what to check next- perhaps ground strap of which I have no idea where it would be, or perhaps a new fuse box with new relays?

I have a new to me 2019 vector 500. It has 250 miles and is in very nice condition. This thing will not go over 22mph. Low range is good to 20mph but high won't go over 22mph. Reverse has more power and is faster than both forward gears. Both seat belts are plugged in. What is the problem here? It has zero power in high gear.
