I’m at a friends, his vector makes a popping sound while the engine is under stress. It does not do it in reverse or accelerating down a hill. We replace the belt but that did not fix it. Any suggestions. I’ll try to attach a video

It's difficult to determine the exact cause of a popping noise without further information or context. However, here are some possible causes of a popping noise related to the Vector 500:

  1. Suspension System: The Vector 500 has a suspension system that consists of shocks, springs, and other components. If any of these components are worn out or damaged, they can cause a popping noise when driving over bumps or uneven terrain.

  2. CV Joints: The Constant Velocity (CV) joints are responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels. If the CV joints are worn out or damaged And  UTV accessories they can cause a popping noise when turning or accelerating.

  3. Exhaust System: A loose or damaged component in the exhaust system, such as the muffler or catalytic converter, can cause a popping noise.

  4. Transmission: If the transmission is low on fluid or has worn out gears, it can cause a popping noise.

  5. Brakes: Worn or damaged brake components, such as pads or rotors, can cause a popping noise when applying the brakes.

If you're experiencing a popping noise with your Vector 500, it's best to take it to a certified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.

Hello, All!  I've decided to replace the traction batteries in my 2018 Sector E1 with a 48V Lithium set. They may be expensive, but I figure the Discovery Dry Cell are, too. I am not looking for the max driving range, as I have never received near the brochured range to begin with, but a good mix of charge/ get work done/ charge is what I am expecting.
I have settled on the 48V EAGL kit from bigbattery dot com. Each battery pack provides 30Ah. The kit ships with a charger, as well. The packs would be physically connected in parallel (using a busbar) to one another, maintaining the 48V voltage, but together would be able to provide the amp draw the buggy pulls when going up hill or towing a rake (rated 320 max continuous Amps). This is in comparison to the serial connection the eight 6V lead batteries. Each of the EAGL batteries looks to have its own BMS; am I correct in thinking I will have to use their included charger rather than (simply) changing the onboard charger to lithium mode? The chemistry of the pack is LiFe PO4, for what it's worth.  I haven't torn anything apart yet (to diagram), so  I am not sure how the dash will interpret the AMP draw, but the kit I am looking at includes a dash mounted charge indicator.
If anyone has completed a similar conversion, do you have any tips? Specifically, how did you remove the original batteries, and how did you secure the new ones? I am guessing that almost any change from the stock batteries would involve at least some modifications. Any tips would be appreciated, especially things I may have failed to consider. Thanks!

I have a 2018 TW450 that runs fine on flat ground but dies out when under load going uphill. Changed the gas filter and spark plug with same results. Letting it set for a few minutes it will run until it hits a incline. Belt is not slipping, but the engine just dies out and doesn't even want to run in neutral. Any ideas as to what I can try is appreciated in advance. Also only run non-ethanol for fuel.
