Hey all, I bought a Hisun 550 back in June of 2019. After 6 weeks of ownership, this machine took to sputtering when started and under power. I checked everything I could think of before I took it back to place of purchase....(rural king), since it had a one year warranty. They kept it almost two months stating they were waiting to get info from Hisun to rectify the issue (supposedly faulty drivers seat belt). I was told by the tech that they replace seat belt harness and cured the problem. It did! Ran just fine again for almost a year and now the very same issue has returned. After doing a little investigating on my own, I noticed that rural king did not replace the seat belt harness at all. The wires to seat belt connector was cut and spliced and taped back together. Now I’m not real sure what the real problem is as that tech is no longer with company and can’t seem to locate the past work order for my machine. Hisun customer service is non existent . I’m on my own and begging for help. Im mechanically inclined but if this is an electricical issue, I’m screwed! No warranty left. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
I've had my Massimo 500 for about a month. So far I'm really happy with it and until today haven't had any issues . When It was delivered, the fuel gauge had one bar so I put a couple of gallons in to get me going. Still showed one bar on gauge but I figured not enough to register. Today I thought that I'd add a 5 gal can to top off. Well, I learned that the gauge wasn't working when, you guesssed it, the tank overflowed after a couple of gallons in. Still only one bar on gauge.
I could probably figure this out by starting with the basics (checking wires , the sending unit , etc. ) but before I got a-rippin and a-tearin , I thought I might save some time and I'd check and see if anyone had already had this problem and what the fix was. This is a 2007 with the electronic dash. Everything else seems to work . Any help would be appreciated .
Hi everyone - I was driving my 2017 Cub Cadet Challenger 750 EPS today on the ranch when it dies on me. It started right up - and then as i was driving after about 50 feet the engine just turned off. It was running perfect before it cut out on me. No alarms, no weird sounds or smells. It just turned off.
When I turn the ignition key, the starter cranks away and the battery and starter turns fast and strong - but the engine doesn't start.
I've confirmed gas flow to the carb - that the fuel filters are clean and clear. I've replaced the spark plug with a brand new one. I checked every fuse with a meter. I have confirmed air filters and airflow are good.
But the darn thing cranks away without the engine even making a sputter or even attempting to fire.
Is there a kill switch somewhere that could have been tripped? I checked the seatbelt sensor, the brake sensor, and parking gear sensor - all are working and i'm in Park, pressing down on the brake, and have the seatbelt latched when i try to start. but - nada!
It acts like it isn't getting a spark. but like i said i put in a new spark plug. I have a feeling there is a sensor or an electrical kill switch somewhere that tripped.
open to any ideas.

Has anyone tried using an external electric water pump on these machines? I watched a video on youtube of one installed on a 1000 cc side by side that had chronic overheating issues in hot weather.. He claimed that after installing a Prius electric automotive pump from junk yard, inline in the inlet hose and bypassing fan temp switch, that the engine never overheated again. .. I am considering trying it on mine...................... Anybody else done this? .................. He did not say if he removed the mechanical pump or not.. would it pump thru that pump?

I have a 2018 Dominator LT 1000 and I am wanting to stiffen up the ride. What is the best way to accomplish this, tighten the recoil spring up or add air to the shock. I can't find any information on the procedure. Also, since im asking questions........my top end rpms doesnt seem to be where it should be. Max RPM is 6100 and usually drops down to 5800 maxed out. Im just wondering if everyone else has the same experience.
