old mule power problem 1987

i have an older kawsaki mule 1000 model kaf 450 and i have no power under load and can only get about 10 MPH out of it on flat ground and cant even climb up a hill with it . ive cleaned the carbs out and replaced the fuel lines and filter. anyone got any ideas what might be wrong?

Hey Buckshot,

If you have ruled out everything else that could be limiting the engine speed, and nothing comes up as a problem, go and read a post I just did on carburation problems and my fix. I have found that most of the mysterious running problems are fuel related - that is partially clogged fuel delivery galleries to the jets. This is an extremely common problem that mechanics usually charge large bucks to fix by removing and "boiling out" the carb.

      I have a 2019 hi sun 750 I parked it in my garage last fall and about a month later I went to ride it and I had no power but the battery shows good. I’ve taken the ignition switch out and cleaned it. I cleaned the battery terminals and replace the main relay all my fuses are good. I still show strong battery but get no power, can anyone help or have any ideas? I have yet to find any wires chewed up like from a mouse or anything all the wiring looks good.

      Hello I bought a axis 700 two years ago and have had no problems until the other day was going down dirt road and lost all electrical power except lights and starter engine will turn over but not start and display panel went out so can’t see any codes can anyone help I’m getting up in years and my knees are not what they use to be.       What is the fuel economy of the Hisun HS590? (I guess it is the same as the HS550)
      I count in liter per 100 km, but if you use MPG it's okay with me, but please tell if you use the US or UK MPG!
