2003 Kawasaki Mule 3010 Transmission

Just want to see if anyone out there knows where I may be able to buy a rebuild kit for my 03, 3010 mule transmission? I have also tried to find a salvaged one, no luck in that direction either. Trying to save myself from purchasing a new transmission($3,000). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a hole in the case? My question is why you feel you need to overhaul the trans.? Would like to have more information on this question.

It does have a hole in the case. Had a buddy take it to the NASCAR shop where he works and have it welded. Everything inside the case is mush. I got the machine for free. Only has 400 hrs on it and it's in perfect shape. No busted plastics or dings in the frame. Never really been off road. Old man just yanked it from high to low i am guessing. Just wanted to see if there was a way to rebuild it for cheaper than purchasing a3000 dollar new transmission.

Sounds like a heck of a deal. I would get on craigs list and request to purchase a wrecked or salvage mule. This might be the least inexpensive way to obtain. Plus you would have several other parts to rob.
