Hi everyone, I'll start this off with a TLDR; If you were looking at a 2020+ 2 seater RZR XP1000 premium, Wolverine RMax, Teryx KRX 1000 (base, trail, or special edition), Maverick Sport XMR, Commander XMR, and a Talon X, which would you get and why? Also, If you have any of these what is your favorite and least favorite things about them?

      Long version:
I'm looking at getting a SXS this year, and want some input on this vs that, and to hear the personal experiences of anyone that has or had one of the above models. I normally take my Ford Ranger out trail riding every other month or so but I recently bought property with some friends and we're going to be going out more like every 3-4 weeks at least now. So I'm thinking a SXS will be smarter to use than beating on my daily that often lol. I've had several ATV's over 14 years but never had a SXS. I've been out of the powersports scene for about 6 years now so I'm trying to play catchup on all the new models. I worked for BRP for a few years, I'm pretty familiar with their products but left a few months before the Maverick Sport was released, so I haven't had any hands on experience with the final product or the updated Commander.
I live in Florida, slower trails with lots of trees, sugar sand, and mud/water. I don't need an X3 or RZR pro type power/suspension but I do like the bucket seats and seating position of a pure sport SXS. Defenders are too upright and the seat/pedal position doesn't let me stretch my legs out on 6+ hour rides. I'm not planning on going crazy with mods outside of a hard roof, snorkel(s), extra lights, tires and a fairly basic speaker bar or pods. Snorkel(s) and a roof are my "must have" before I take it out, snorkels for insurance where we ride and roof because I'm a redhead. The other things can come later down the road.
I haven't stopped by any dealers yet but I'll be going to check each model out over the next couple months.
So far the big things that stand out to me on paper for each is:
RZR XP1000-honestly nothing jumps out on this besides it's the lightest weight, but only by 30 lbs
RMax-aesthetically I like it, video reviews are pretty positive. But compared to the others it seems expensive for what you get
KRX-significantly more suspension travel than any of the others and the biggest fuel tank. The trail and special editions seem like a good value for the extras they have. Also the most expensive model on my list
Maverick Sport XMR-besides a roof it comes out of the box with everything I really want, and it has the most ground clearance (tied with the Commander XMR). Tied with the Commander XMR for the best "bang for your buck" imo
Commander XMR-I really like the bedside storage, dump bed, and higher mounted winch. Plus what I said for the Maverick
Talon X-cheapest MSRP, comes standard with a roof, and it has a physical transmission so it should be more reliable than a belt long term and hopefully cheaper to snorkel. BUT it does have the worst ground clearance (eventual tires and possibly a small lift can remedy this) and the smallest gas tank (in my experience Honda ATV's were more fuel efficient than everything else I owned so the smaller tank size may not matter)

      Hi,
I have a brand new Hisun Sector E1 that I got in March-April timeframe. Its got about 100 miles on it. I was driving it yesterday among some tall grass on one of my hills when it just complete stopped moving. Pressing the accelerator and nothing. I put it in reverse, nothing. I tried in 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive, locked and unlocked. Nothing. I put it in neutral, turned the ignition off and started it again and was able to drive forward about 20-30 feet and it stopped again. No errors. No 45C message, nothing. Just completely unresponsive. I had to "limp" all the way home by turning it on and off to get home. That 30 feet or so that it would travel was full power, I could push it hard or take it gently and it would still cut out on me. Its super bizarre. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on? I'm no electrician...I thought buying a sector E1 would require less work from me than an ICE vehicle, it appears I was wrong. I'm 2 hours from the nearest distributor so pretty worried about getting it serviced.

Does anyone happen to know if the wires in the glove box are for a trickle charger? Black/red wire with connector at the end, normally to connect a charger but just wanted any input. Don't want to fry anything.

10:31 AM (9 minutes ago)         I'm always trying to add more options, when it comes to parts, fluids or anything else, if it's good quality and saves me money. I want it to look right also. My new 800sx crew is just about broken in. I'll use Amsoil 0w-40 engine oil. After pounding around in Google for a while,  I  found a couple of oil filters other than Chery.

I  was hoping for a little more quality, and found Wix 51394. I got it at O'Reilly's for 13 American. I wanted to be sure, so I stopped into Bass Pro. I  asked for an oil filter for my machine. The guy went over to the shelf and opened an oil change kit from Tracker. (You know,  the oil and filter kit for 69.99.) Inside the box was a Wix 51394. I'll change the differential and trans-axle fluids at the same time. I think I've found some fluids, other than Tracker/Artic Cat.( I did end up with Artic Cat trans-axle fluid, still looking for a good alternative.) Has anyone already found something? It would be great to know?
I also put a Kenimoto turn signal/horn kit on it. I did have to lengthen the wires from the switch on the steering column into the firewall and then back to the rear turn signals. I went to the battery for power. It looks and works great. You will see that my turn signal indicator lights are out on the hood. I'll have to extend the wires to get them into the cab area. As it works out, I like the added lights outside on the front and I see the lights easily.
I bought a 6x10 canvas tarp, added a couple of grommets, used the black rubber stretchy tie downs and I now have a nice top that does all I need it to do until I get a hard top. I did this for under 60.00.
I did roll roll the front with a 1/2" fiberglass rod that I got at the farm and home store. I used 1/2" insulated clamps from the electrical isle. I did have to puncture the canvas for the screws. On the back I used one of the bicycle/moped fiberglass flag poles. It stays tight, keeps the sun off the passengers and would repel rain.
