I just wanted to show you guys my finished electric power steering cost me about $150 to complete and maybe like 12 hrs counting time expend at junk yard,( to pick up a 03 saturn ion e. Steering column and spare linkages )... saw that a guy was selling this kit for about $500 on craigsl.. I went on line and researched a bit so decided to make my own. Not sure if any one has done it not too complicated just time consuming..you will need the 03 ion electric motor, and need to get on ebay and buy this module that a guy sells for about $70, (((module comes with a adjustment knob to set desired torque))helps if you got a welder and some spare steel angle to mount assembly..i will attach some pics ..... haven't been able to take it out but its very easy to turn now..,

Definitely a nice upgrade. I did mine with a foreign car steering. The guy that sold you the kit made them first for a Corsa B from the UK.. mine works good. Watch high speed with the power cranked up... you definitely could roll it with this kit. Specially with no sway bar.mine is crazy loose at 40mph. Mine will kick out if I abuse it climbing hills locked in all 4's. But my buggy lives on the Rev limiter..!

After alot of hard steering the computer shuts itself off so it don't burn up the motor.it usually just takes a few min for it to re-engage. I'm guessing because I run full power all the time.. definitely needed when all 4 locked.

Has anyone installed the power dump on a Kioti K9? If so, does it eliminate the safety lock? Does it work well?
      Thanks for your input

Haven't been able to find a video on it.  How difficult is it to do and any tips, pics, diagrams, videos on it?

Just picked up a Hisun 500 that had shift issues (corroded fan gear) which I fixed. It also didn't seem to be running smoothly then all of a sudden it got worse. It seems to miss on both idle and when pushing the gas pedal to the floor and doesn't seem to be running at full power. I've been working with a local person who is walking me through some steps, but I'd like some input from this group as well. What I've done:
      - drained the fuel tank and replaced it with 93 octane fuel and added heet to help with any water problems.
      - replaced the fuel injector.
      - disconnected the battery (several times) to allow the module to reset.
      - set the valve clearance, both intake and exhaust, within specs ... intake was tight but exhaust seemed fine.
      - replaced the battery.
      - replaced the O2 sensor.
Nothing has helped. Not sure what the next steps are, but would appreciate any expertise that can be offered here.

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

As with any forum you join, there is a requirement for an obligatory introduction... and that seems fair. How else do you get that first post in there without jumping in with some stupid question right out of nowhere?

Hi. I'm Space Ghost. Well, not really, but that was my call sign on my last deployment before an IED made me non-deployable, and I an now retired/disabled, and living on my wonderful VA disability. I did almost 28 years in total between the Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard. 1 deployment with the Reserve (Desert Storm) and 3 with the Guard (1 pre, and 2 post 9/11)

Married (going on 30 years) one of each. (both out of the nest)

Just picked up my first side by side a couple days ago. A 2020 Can-Am Defender HD10 DPS 6x6.

It's in pretty good shape, but as you can probably tell, it's sitting a bit high. Former owner put a lifting collar on the shocks.

The good = almost 17" of ground clearance. (30" tires)
The bad = incredibly steep driveline angles, and a pretty stiff ride.

      They will be coming off.

Other than that... clean as a pin and appears very well maintained.

Looking forward to seeing what this forum can bring, and hoping I can bring something in return.
