Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.

I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:

A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)

A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)

Tire chains for the winter

And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.

Bumpers because duh.

I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.

Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.

Thanks so much!

These little guys on the edges of the bed. Sorry if the photo isn't super clear...oh and it's kinda dirty 😅.

I'm picking up what you're saying though. I think if I cover those with masking tape and spray it down with bed liner it should work. I did some digging on it and so far it seems like a good solution for helping haul stuff.

Now when it comes to carrying tools for trail work I'm seeing that most of the parts I need to access are typically removed by sockets and maybe a few other small odds and ends. Is that a good bet to add to my kit?

Okay I see what you mean. In your case I would tape them off before spraying so you could still have access. Another great option is to go to tractor supply and buy one 6'x4' horse mat. I believe there are two thicknesses. Use cardboard to complete a template and cut it to fit on the floor of your bed. It will significantly protect the bed. It may be a better option in your case. A good impact socket set with breaker bars and a hijack type jack is always a good thing to have.

Horse mats!? I can't believe I didn't think of that! That an awesome solution.😁

Would a jack like the one from old jeep work for repairs or is it to weak to lift a Kawasaki Krx?

I realize this part is discontinued but im trying to find this exhaust pipe fir my dads 550.  His brother who has since passed bought this mule for my dad who is now 90 and he is trying to fix everything on it.  I'm willing to take a used one.  A new one would be great if someone still had in stock.  I'll take anything as long as it is in workable condition.   If anyone has any ideas for me im open to hearing them.  Thank you so much.

Hit a rock last weekend and trashed my front A-arm and axle on my Outlander. I’ve been looking around for reliable sources for replacement components. A lot of listings online look a bit hit or miss, so I’m trying to figure out what’s actually worth trusting.
Has anyone here had good luck with dealers or sites where you can buy genuine Can-Am spare parts online without worrying about quality issues or fake OEM stuff? I’d rather pay a bit more and get the right fit than deal with problems later.
      Any recommendations appreciated.

I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

"Mrs. Smith" doesn't like how loud our Sector 750 is.  On a HISUN forum someone said the same thing about his 750.  I haven't given it much thought because I've been more focused on stuff that has broken.
So, I used my decibel meter to check ours out.  4000 RPM, Low gear, under 20 MPH . . . . 97 decibels.  That's above most ordinances, even state boat noise limits.
AI Overview Ninety-seven (97) decibels is considered very loud and dangerous to hearing with prolonged exposure, roughly equivalent to a newspaper press, a loud nightclub, or a snowmobile. At this level, damage can occur after just 30 minutes, necessitating hearing protection
