Can anyone tell me the correct oil filter & where to buy it other than paying $25 for it on Coleman website ?  Can i order it on Amazon? Bought UTV at Tractor Supply but they don't carry oil filters for it (how stupid is that??)

Help would be MUCH appreciated!

I bought this one from Amazon $10 with free shipping for Prime¹ members (I have seen some for $8 but w/o free shipping)---it is identical to the OEM filter I took off. Tractor supply actually does have one, but they don't know it 'cause it's labeled as being for a Cub Cadet lawn tractor or something. I think it's $11 or $12 though.

No sensible, cost-conscious manufacturer (which the Asians certainly are) would develop and commission a proprietary oil filter when they can just grab one off a shelf somewhere--only Apple would do something like that--Oh, wait a minute I said "cost-conscious"...Apple doesn't give a crap about cost because their customers will pay whatever they ask.

As far as I can tell most Asian made  ATVs and UTVs use this same filter.

FWIW, my Ariens 20 HP tractor with a B&S Instek motor uses a variant of the same filter (same base, but 3/8" or so shorter).

Here are the dimensions of the OEM filter:

Harbor Freight sells vacuum pumps, but not vacuum pump oil...

¹ - Neat thing about Prime is that if you get the item and it sucks, or you just don't like it, you can just send it back--w/ free shipping; and usually a full refund within 3-4 hours of UPS logging in the package.

I'd take those Specs and try to find a Wix  filter with those specifications, With a wix number you can then cross ref to a whole bunch of filters.

Watch for the thread configuration--some have threads that are 'outies" instead of "innies" like the OEM filter. On  those with the projecting thread the thread can bottom out on the filter flange central tube collar or lock nut before the seal is seated tightly. Many Fram filters are made that way leading to the classic "I bought an oil filter at Auto-Pats 'R Us from their cross reference list and it leaks" threads. I have had this happen on bikes.

One particularly offensive, in this regard,  Fram filter (the projecting thread is almost flush with the gasket):

If you tried to mount that filter on a flange like this ↓↓↓ there would be a problem--the thread will bottom out on the lock nut before it's sealed--been therre and done it.

I agree, I tore some filters apart in a Bob is the oil Guy project back in 2000; the Frams had cardboard end plates, crappy valves and were generally built like crap:

cardboard end plate lousy bypass (this is a "Tough Guard" BTW :

Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.
      New starter solenoid....check
      New Voltage Regulator...check.
Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC
Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

2022 Coleman 400 with 13 hours on the engine and the mice got to it. Every wire coming out of the steering column in one cluster has been eaten through. I tried reconnecting matching wire colors to each other and I get the left turn signal and hazards to work, nothing else. If I play around a bit I can get the horn to honk or headlights to come on but only when I connect them to the brown wire. Obviously I don't know what I am doing here. Does anyone have a picture of how these wires are connected when they are under the hood on the drivers side coming from the steering column?
Gray - seems to carry power
      Brown - left turn signal
Green with purple stripe - hazards?
Pink with red stripe - horn?
      Green - head lights?
      Yellow - head lights?
      Yellow with red stripe?
      Blue?
      Dark green?
There is also a bundle hanging under the hood not connected to anything green with yellow strip, brown and blue?
Other than that issue, I am about ready to sell this for parts if you interested let me know.
      Thanks

I recently purchased a 2019 or 2020 (no manual) Massimo 400S Buck Series UTV.  It ran fine for a couple days but the low battery light was flashing while it drove.  It then died in the field one day and I was able to jump the battery and get it rolling enough to get back to the barn.  It started both times I turned the key for a couple days after and when driven died 10 minutes later in the driveway.  Even after jumping it had no juice, but with the key out of the ignition it kept trying to start, a quick look on the Google machine and it suggested starter solenoid or ignition switch was the culprit.  Fair enough, let's just order a replacement solenoid, right?  No way Jose....the pin connector on the UTV is a 2-pin white plastic connector and the part received is a 4 pin.  How do I swap that and make it work?  Can I even?  Where do I find correct parts in the future?

I have been searching and can't find much info on these units. Pretty surprising as every other thing I own I find a lot of info on. Researching for tech info and such it's like no one owns any of these yet I see them everywhere.
