Hi everyone, this is my first post  regarding my Hisun 500. I bought it a short time ago thinking it was all fine, test drove it and no smoke and seemed fine. Got it home and took it for a run and instantly started to over heat (admittedly I didn't look at temp gauge when I was test driving it, I know stupid mistake), so towed it back to the shed let it cool and tried again and quickly started to overheat. Rad was stone cold and smoke pouring out the exhaust. Pulled the head off and gasket was blown, so replaced that and got the head checked for cracks etc and all OK. Replaced the water pump and purged the system and coolant now flowing, but still blowing white/gray smoke, although not over heating. Thought the smoke might clear so took it for a run and suddenly engine just stopped, towed it back again and everything looked OK, so ran it at idle for a while with no issues but still smoking, then gave it some revs and it stopped abruptly, started it again and same thing. Touch the throttle and it stops.

Any suggestions, as I am out of ideas? Only thing I can think is to take the engine out and to an engine builder for a full rebuild, but thought I would ask everyone here first if I am missing something obvious.

Hi everyone I have a 2021 Hinsum 500 that I bought from Lowes.  The last time I used it started fine and used it for about 2 hours with no problems.  But when I went to turn it off with the key it just diesel or surge, but when I turn the key back on it ran just normal.  I try this again and the same thing happen, didn't know how to stop the engine from dieseling so I let it kill itself.  Now when I turn the key on I have nothing,  all of the electrical system light, turn signals, horn work but  the starter would not turn over. I change the starter solenoid, the starter and the starter switch with no luck I still have the problem.  As to taking it to a Hinsun repair shop the closes one is about 70 miles away.  Can anyone give me some more ideas as to what I need to do.  Thanks Greg

      I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!

      "Mrs. Smith" doesn't like how loud our Sector 750 is.  On a HISUN forum someone said the same thing about his 750.  I haven't given it much thought because I've been more focused on stuff that has broken.
      So, I used my decibel meter to check ours out.  4000 RPM, Low gear, under 20 MPH . . . . 97 decibels.  That's above most ordinances, even state boat noise limits.
      AI Overview Ninety-seven (97) decibels is considered very loud and dangerous to hearing with prolonged exposure, roughly equivalent to a newspaper press, a loud nightclub, or a snowmobile. At this level, damage can occur after just 30 minutes, necessitating hearing protection

      MSU 500 Fuel Pump Ground

      Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it. 
      Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming. 
      Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light. 
      Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?

      2021 Hisun 500 Axis. Reading Codes??

      Can anyone please tell me or send a link as to how & where to hook up a code reader to my 2021 Hisun 500 Axis.  I have a 6 pin to a 18 pin  adaptor and the blue cord VAG KKL adaptor .Just not sure where or what to hook up to. Can I use your typical vehicle code reader or do I need to download something on a laptop or PC???

      Kubota RTV520 - smoke and stall issue

      I am about 6 months in to owning my 520. It is used mainly to run back and forth to our barn and shop. Occasionally, I run it up and down a few fairly steep hills on the property. One day, as I was going up one of the hills, the motor started sputtering and a tremendous amount of smoke was coming out of the exhaust. I was near the top and it made it (sputtering) up. Once back on the flat, I made it home. I loaded it on the trailer and took it back to the dealer. They said they checked everything out and found no issues. Over the next month or so, I only had occasion to go up hills once or twice with no issue. Then one day, again as I was going up a hill, the engine sputtered, giant plume of white smoke and then the engine died. 30 seconds later, started up and made it to the top. Repeated the route (down and up) and the same thing happened again. Called the dealer and their head of service said he would come out and wanted to see it first hand. He came out a few days later and repeated the route several time and it never happened with him in it. I had videoed the whole thing on one of the times it happened to me, but since it happens intermittently, could not produce it when he was here. I told him that I had checked the temperature, the oil level and the antifreeze level after each occurrence and they were normal. I asked him to call Kubota and ask what the possibilities were and that I am not fond of it dying on the hill and blowing the smoke and I didn't want to wait until something catastrophic happened to figure it out. When I followed up, they had no answers (which doesn't exactly please me). Any ideas? The attached photo was the start of the smoking. Didn't know how to upload the video of the whole thing, but it fogged the whole area.
