I was riding kind of rough over the weekend and took my Trooper out for a little ride today. I noticed a loud clunking noise from the right front end while hitting ruts. I wasn't travelling very fast, maybe 30 at best. Now, I'm about as mechanically inclined as a shoe-horn :( My instincts tell me however that its probably the shocks. I've inspected them and there's no evidence of any fluid leakage .. presuming their filled with oil. If they're gas filled then I've probably blown a seal. I also noticed that the steering is sluggish.

Any help I can get will be most appreciated folks.

      right front axle cv joint boot keeps getting torn up from the inside out....the stock one was damaged from a stick...i have replaced  the axle 4 times with aftermarket axles that fit fine..after 4-5 miles of riding even on grass.the outer boot get torn up from the inside out...all 4 brand new alxes...bearings are fine nothing bent everything fits just fine....nothing seems to be binding.....any thoughts?????

      "Mrs. Smith" doesn't like how loud our Sector 750 is.  On a HISUN forum someone said the same thing about his 750.  I haven't given it much thought because I've been more focused on stuff that has broken.
      So, I used my decibel meter to check ours out.  4000 RPM, Low gear, under 20 MPH . . . . 97 decibels.  That's above most ordinances, even state boat noise limits.
      AI Overview Ninety-seven (97) decibels is considered very loud and dangerous to hearing with prolonged exposure, roughly equivalent to a newspaper press, a loud nightclub, or a snowmobile. At this level, damage can occur after just 30 minutes, necessitating hearing protection

      2025 hisun ntx 550 intermittent clunking sound every 5 to 10 seconds coming from engine compartment when going gown hill in high gear two wheel drive  with foot off the accelerator.  Any suggestions would be helpful.
