I don't how these machines changed overtime, but I remember that in our 2008 hisun 700; rattling was caused by a shot pinion bearings in the rear transfer case, and exhaust manifold brackets that came loose and where hanging on the pipe. With the shot pinion bearings bearings, it caused lots of play in the pinion which allowed the brake rotor to chatter against the pads creating a rattling sound. But these generally caused a rattling towards the rear. Just some possibilities to check out.
