Your final reduction is to large, that'd one reason - and offroad-tyres are also not useful for high speeds.

You don't need more rpm. You need smaller and lighter rims.

My limit is as well 6200. Absolute Top speed was 155km/h = 96mph on a long highway road with 5% slope. RPM were about 5500 in 5th gear. I drive 215/40R17.

But is this steering not far to long? 5:1 instead of 1,5:1 ?

This engine upgrade on the 371 is hilarious - 93Nm/69ps - oh yes that's a lot more power... In my opinion the better way would be finishing less projects. But I don't care anymore for Chery parts as that's to expensive for serious power gain. A swap is definitely the better solution for more power. For the price of cams and bigger pistons you can buy hole Japanese car with 150hp.

Its now August - it was May when you start to build up his engine - so where are the results?
