Did you end up going down to Utah for the Jamboree? Sorry to hear your voice is still not recovered. Hope you get better soon! Maybe we can meet somewhere in the Northwest some time. I still need to check out Morrow County OHV park. We liked Sumpter (my wife especially did because of the quiet) Stayed in a little cabin right at the foot of the OHV trails. No TV; No radio; but so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I'm sure my Trooper was the noiseyest machine in the forest. Sounds like a bucket of bolts coming down the road.

I didn't get mtrhm in time for Hanksville, but they decided to go on to Moab,sun. So was going to try & meet up there? But got call from Rocmoc, said hot, no seeums, they canceled Moab. Plus, I was going to have to ride kiddie trails, because of "neck" & old age.... & scared!!!

Would love to meet up sometime,I can handle scenery, forest roads, & sometimes even "A hill "or 2!!! love the dried up river beds around yuma, you cut loose in loose gravelie, sand,go for miles, then into small canyons,or washes,crevices. Even to surrounding mts.

I watched video,great views, looks like the riding I'm doing in Id. camping by Anderson Ranch res. Pine Id. Taking it easy for awhile, enjoying the scenery,& mts. Still can't talk? See Dr. 6th.????

I told him yes, as far as Quig knew.. I will pm Kinarfi his cell # just in case,, have fun, hope to see soon,, Told him about Moab, he said they might try to do that too?

That sounds like a great idea!! i would like to see some of the sites, great scenery, put some miles on trooper, not hurt "Quig" Don't really feel like doing some of the trails I've seen on youtube. Ok? an un-named source "rocmoc" said they have trails at moab for me, I'm old, cautious,had neck surgery,,,,,,,& maybe scared!! lol, So, I don't want to hold back the dare devils, or 3 amigo's! So, will someone tell me if they have "kiddy" safe trails, that I can look at scenery,& not run off cliff? Showed my wife some youtube videos of moab trails, she said no way!! For her or me? & what I saw, I pretty much agree.. If theres like a gravel road around most of it, great!! Help???? Quig

What are you guys going to do for fuel? Carry with you or drive into Hanksville? I am leaning to driving into Hanksville as the weather is going to be VERY HOT in route for us and I don't like to carry fuel when it is HOT! There is a Shell Station nearby the campground in Moab that we have used in the past.

Kinarfi plays Steve Martin. That is how I would of picked the roles. Good that means I'm doing the Funny Support Role, fits for this trip. Just fun with no thinking. I need a brain rest!

I had to cut off a large branch on one of the trees but the trailer is attached in the YARD. Nothing has to go in the street, makes be feel better leaving everything loaded the night before, but will wake the neighbors when we pull out at day-break. Weather looked incredible this weekend in Hanksville, cool and a touch of moisture. We will be in the 100s the entire week here at home, good time to leave!

Keep trying Quiq. If you don't make if but for a day to Hanksville, you can follow us over to Moab.

Off-topic, Where do you guys want to camp in Moab? In town we like the OK RV Park, http://www.passport-america.com/Campgrounds/CampgroundDetails.aspx?CampgroundId=554. We are Passport members. Been there before and easy drive to fuel and Hell's Revenge area. Or?

Well, the good news is I feel great! More good news for you guys,, I still can't talk!! I took repaired fresh water tank to rv dealer to be installed. They were working on it!! But are really busy with all their other work & customers? They are trying real hard to get it by tues? But looks like it will be later? I haven't got release from dr. yet, but hoping soon.. Still going to try to make it!! I need to get away!! Really want to ride some new trails, & meet you guys,,,,,,, & Rick?

Hello....I recently purchased a 2011 Mule 4010. I already have a few questions, but will research the forum before asking "old questions". Looking forward to being an active member. I have owned many 4x4's, 4 wheelers, and a Teryx. This 4010 is a neat vehicle that seems almost perfect for this "senior". More later.
