I'm betting the marks are there just very easy to miss as they fly by that hole when looking and turning the shaft. My motor actually has some leading marks a V mark, the mark is TDC.

Electric power comes from mechanical power. The charging system is small so it doesn't rob too much horsepower, not because it's cheaper to do it this way.
I imagine both are considerations when deciding on finished product. Cost vs. payoff always come into play. More electric power would mean increasing the horsepower, or losing performance, and designing the circuits to handle the increased power capacity. More expensive all the way around.

The only non stock item is the heater, which is designed for this utv.
Designed for doesn't necessarily mean the stator output can handle the load as Bill said. What is the power rating of the heater, current x voltage?

Very interesting...I wonder if it has anything to do with model year? Mine is a 2020...
Most definitely as my 2014 is China for sure.

Possibly the turnbuckle adjustment outlined here: https://offroadofficial.com/bennche-utv-problems-with-fixes/
Also make sure they didn't somehow bind the rod movement if they removed/replaced the cover.

It is Hisun assembled in Texas. They may have some specially spec'd parts but most everything is interchangeable from experience with my Bennche 700.

One thing about that, Coleman stated to me it would take a minimum of 3 weeks to ship out any parts and then told a locksmith I was speaking to that they aren't shipping out parts at all. I did call Hisun and to my surprise when I asked about parts I needed, they told me they are not affiliated with Coleman anymore and if I needed anything for the UTV, I had to get it through Coleman. I told them the UTV was all Hisun parts and they said they couldn't help me and to contact Coleman. This is why I am frustrated. I feel like I'm left out in the cold with this. But I'm going to take it one step at a time and see where this all leads.
Ebay has lots of parts for Hisun based UTVs. Just did a quick search and there are ignition switches listed for TSC and Coleman. I have bought a fuel pump and other parts for my Bennche from US based sellers there with good results.
PS: Compare pictures closely to make sure it looks like original.

Sounds like the TSC people didn't really know the full story behind it. Those places, and others, do have a frequent turnover in workers. If it is all you can afford, and you think you can get everything up to par without a lot more money and time, then probably should keep it. Deliberately scamming someone versus not knowing all the real details are different things to me. As Charles said above you should be able to find parts pretty easily without a huge price tag. I would definitely replace all the fluids and oil filter just to be safe.

Sounds like could be something with oil flow not getting where it needs to when going downhill. Strange thing but maybe start by checking if oil pressure is dropping. Assuming oil is not low of course.

Sounds like the injector isn't getting 12v power signal to allow fuel through. It should make a clicking noise when power is applied. Either the ECU or wiring going from the ECU to the injector could be bad.

Also check the engine water temp sensor. It is also one that can cause rich fuel mixture if bad.

You've checked the radiator cap is good? Run it parked for a bit with cap off and watch to see if coolant seems to be flowing. Sounds like cap could be bad and not providing seal under pressure.
