  1. So my 2022 Tracker 800SX developed a coolant leak. Under pressure there was a pin hole size leak which was spewing coolant towards the firewall. Upon removing the tank I discovered it was bulging pretty severely such that it caused a small crack. Has anyone else experienced this? I suspect either a faulty tank or perhaps a faulty tank cap (rated at 15PSI).

  2. When researching the Tracker, I was interested in the 800SX LE. The original sales literature indicated that the LE came with 27x9x14 and 27x11x14 tires. When I went to pick up my Tracker, it had 26” tires on it. I called Tracker before paying for the Tracker and was told they had supply issues and could not get 27” tires. I’m curious to know if anyone has taken delivery of an LE with 27” tires in stalled? I just recently installed 27” tires and am happy with the added ground clearance and beefy look the machine has taken on!

  3.  I’ve got a 2022 Tracker 800SX LE and it has done the same thing with me. The manufacturer changed it under warranty. The funny thing is they did nothing to prevent it from ever happening again? What I did was get some heat shield material and some stainless steel zip ties and secured it to the muffle. I also wrapped the header pipe with high temp motorcycle type wrap. Have not noticed it bubbling up since. Flowmaster makes a heat shield that fits like a glove on the muffler but I had difficulty getting one so I made my own. The part number is 51017, maybe you can score one.

Mine is a 2022 and got about 1200 miles on it.  Been doing it since day 1.

    Good luck with yours

    Thanks

Annoying for sure, but I’m not going to worry about it. I bought an extended warranty so if something should eventually fail, I’ll be covered.

  5. Had the same squealing/chirping noise with mine. It was in the shop numerous times. The primary clutch was replaced, the secondary clutch was replaced, the belt was replaced and the problem was not resolved. Fast forward to the lasttrip to the shop and they did some sort of shimming and adjustment and it is much better. It will make noise for about the first 30 seconds then goes away for the entire time I use it. Start it the next day and same thing. I’ve decided to just live with the 30 seconds of noise every day!

  6. Thanks for the link. Picture shows some sort of implement attachment. Now I’ve got to figure out where to get the attachment piece. Do you have experience with the rake (link) you sent me?

  7. I read where a Flowmaster 51017 heat shield fits like a glove, however the lead time getting one was too long for my liking. I ended up getting a roll of aluminum heat shield from Amazon, cutting it to fit, and used the included stainless steel straps to mount it. Once the supply of the Flowmaster shield is better, I will probably use it.

  8. I have had my 2022 800SX LE in the shop numerous times for clutch issues and shifting issues. Both primary and secondary clutches have been changed, and new drive belt. Mine squeals on initial use but goes away in a few minutes of use. Local authorized dealer has really stepped up in an effort to solve these issues. Tracker support to the dealers is lacking. I also had the bed replaced due to warping from the heat. Tracker sent a new bed but did nothing to mitigate the issue. I took it upon myself to add a heat shield to the muffler and also wrapped the exhaust pipe with exhaust wrap. We shall see if this helps.
