  1. I was fortunate. My local dealer had one in stock so I changed it. I also ordered a cap thinking it may have been a bad cap that caused the bulging of the tank.
  2. So my 2022 Tracker 800SX developed a coolant leak. Under pressure there was a pin hole size leak which was spewing coolant towards the firewall. Upon removing the tank I discovered it was bulging pretty severely such that it caused a small crack. Has anyone else experienced this? I suspect either a faulty tank or perhaps a faulty tank cap (rated at 15PSI).
  3. Not sure on the fitment question you have, however, I just installed some Terrabite tires and am happy thus far.
  4. When researching the Tracker, I was interested in the 800SX LE. The original sales literature indicated that the LE came with 27x9x14 and 27x11x14 tires. When I went to pick up my Tracker, it had 26” tires on it. I called Tracker before paying for the Tracker and was told they had supply issues and could not get 27” tires. I’m curious to know if anyone has taken delivery of an LE with 27” tires in stalled? I just recently installed 27” tires and am happy with the added ground clearance and beefy look the machine has taken on!
  5. i too am trying to figure a way to mount a spare. Have been looking at the type that attaches to the hitch receiver…...
  6. I occasionally have heard this noise. It only seems to do it on occasions when the suspension is at max travel. I am not overly concerned about it, unless of course it becomes worse or more persistent…mine is a 2022 800SX LE. Have you adjusted the springs? I had the dealer adjust mine from soft to medium.
  7. I’ve got a 2022 Tracker 800SX LE and it has done the same thing with me. The manufacturer changed it under warranty. The funny thing is they did nothing to prevent it from ever happening again? What I did was get some heat shield material and some stainless steel zip ties and secured it to the muffle. I also wrapped the header pipe with high temp motorcycle type wrap. Have not noticed it bubbling up since. Flowmaster makes a heat shield that fits like a glove on the muffler but I had difficulty getting one so I made my own. The part number is 51017, maybe you can score one.
  8. I plan to get a tire and wheel for the front tire (27x9x14). Have not figured out how to mount it…..
  9. Annoying for sure, but I’m not going to worry about it. I bought an extended warranty so if something should eventually fail, I’ll be covered.
  10. All I know is that they shimmed something in the clutch system. I rode the 800SX today and the same thing, 15-30 seconds of noise, then no noise……..
  11. Had the same squealing/chirping noise with mine. It was in the shop numerous times. The primary clutch was replaced, the secondary clutch was replaced, the belt was replaced and the problem was not resolved. Fast forward to the lasttrip to the shop and they did some sort of shimming and adjustment and it is much better. It will make noise for about the first 30 seconds then goes away for the entire time I use it. Start it the next day and same thing. I’ve decided to just live with the 30 seconds of noise every day!
  12. Update: does not seem to run any hotter. Heat shield/reflector was money well spent!
  13. Thumper Fab makes lift kits. Just type in Tracker 800SX.
  14. I too added a heat deflector from Grenada Boys in Mississippi. Noticeably cooler in the cab. I’m wondering if it will cause the Tracker to run hotter…….not had it warm enough yet for the cooling fan to kick on…..
