What's missing?

Good evening folks , can someone tell me what part should be on the rear of the intake manifold that's missing?

I forgot to say it's a 2004 R4 1100cc Chery engine. When it's running it idles WAY high, 6k rpms. If I put my finger over the fitting the idle drops down to normal. Is this supposed to be plugged or a hose hooked on that goes somewhere. I haven't found a broken hose or a plug of some sort.

I found an old picture that had what is missing. I am wondering if the "cap" needs to "flex" with the vacuum of the intake or if I can make up a solid plug.
