2020 Coleman 400 Water Pump EXTRA O-ring??

Bought a Coleman 400 UTV (pretty much a Hisun), the previous owner tried to replace the timing chain, couldn't time it properly and sold it to me. After some hours I figured out how the timing all is supposed to be set (I think/hope) and as I am reassembling, I noticed that the water pump gear was awfully hard to spin. I held the gear with my hand and spun off the impeller. I checked the bearing, spins great no obvious issues noticed other than this o-ring which seems to be out of place? When I remove this o-ring and reassemble the WP, it seems to spin nice and easy without a drag. I looked up the service manual (although very inaccurate info there often) and don't see this o-ring present. Am I missing something here or what? Any input? 

This is not easy to access once the engine is back in the machine so would like to avoid having to deal with this if it becomes a problem.

I went to the Coleman website that has the same diagram, which lists parts by name and their availability https://www.colemanpowersportsusa.com/parts/utv_side-by-side-parts/outfitter-400_ut400/water-pump but out of the 26 listed parts in the diagram, they only name 6 parts that are available, which doesn't help seeing if there is an "O" ring there. Looking at the diagram, could part #5, #25, or part #23 (the part to the right) could possibly be an "O" ring? Not sure.

You might be able to call Coleman and get some help from them.

That is a standard mechanical rotary seal, no o ring belongs there.

The little lip under your arrow seals on that white teflon on impeller, thats it.

Possibly the seal leaks and it was someones fix, or someone added it because they just did.

If that lip isnt damaged Assemble without it and check weep hole under pump for leakage when or after running it.

I’m hoping you remember or still have this side by side. I have the same one and long story short had to replace gear that drives that water pump gear attached to the impeller. After much frustration I finally got a replacement installed and everything back together to the point I could fill it back up with coolant. 
I noticed coolant leaking from this little nub in the picture. I noticed in your pictures a hose attached to it. I can’t find that hose, and don’t see it in any parts diagrams I can find online. Can you tell me where the other end of that hose goes?
