Hello

I have a 2022 Massimo t-boss 550. I’m looking for a fix for my timing problem. It keeps getting out of timing. Now I’m trying to find the proper parts for the linhai motor. I’m looking for tensioner chain and gear. If there’s anything else I can do to fix this issue please let me know. Unfortunately I can’t afford to get something better so I got to get it fixed. Thanks in advance.

If it's jumping timing likely the chain is stretched. Usually thats more a a function of wear on the pins from poor oil lubrication. Excessive metal in the oil, etc. It could just be poor metalurgy/manufacturing on the chain too.

The hisun equivalent uses the same chain as the Yamaha Rhino 660. They actually even accidentally use the Yamaha P/N in the service manual. There are a ton of these available sub $20 on amazon/ebay etc. Any chance that the motor uses the same chain? Can you send a pic and count the links? I'm assuming the motor may also be a Yamaha knockoff like Hisun.

Also you'll probably have more luck in the model specific forum.

Well what can I say somebody has to bye them! Lol

but again thanks for the advice , I’ve got it going and seems to be working pretty good so far. I added weights to the clutch and it seems to be a little better for what I use it for. By the way it was the chain that was finished that was the major problem. Although these Utv are made cheap and I had to learn the hard way.  Now that I know what not to do with it. The Massimo t-boss 550 might last me a little longer before I need to do more repairs to it! lol

have yourself a great day and thanks again!

I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC

I have an 850. It’s been overheating. The electric fan is not kicking on. I see the temperature switch going into the radiator, but there’s no wire plugging in to it or none to be found in the area. i’m thinking I might’ve hooked on a branch and it ripped out the harness on that part. Does anybody have a picture or no where that plugs into on the harness? On the top of the firewall, I did notice some plugs that have nothing plugged into it. I was wondering if it’s a harness that goes from there down to the radiator that was pulled off

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]
