Hey guys I was wondering is it worth having the stock trooper tuned??? I have a snorkel silver bullets programmer and synthetic fluids with iridium spark plugs. Just curious and how are the shops tuneing them with no OBD port.

we have a scan tool that will access the chery computer ,on the older troopers it requires "backpinning" into the harness, newer troopers have an obd II plug tucked in behind the seat...alltho we can read most parameters,to my knowledge there is nothing we can change...read only and erase..as for "tuning",we install a tempory wide band air fuel gauge and o2 sensor, and sometimes tie in to the factory narrow band to adjust fuel controller after making any other mods to intake, snokel, exaust etc...we have installed air restriction guage into intake tubes, snorkels etc to give an idea how much flow/restriction been added or taken away, but only real "tuning"once intake exaust etc are designed and installed on a non turbo stock engine trooper we would usually do is fuel pressure and fuel controller...just my 3 cents...Hardy

I dont see any real benefit to hooking up a scan tool.however wide band fuel ratio can help with tuning your programmer...every machine is a little different, particularly if you ve changed your intake, exaust, snokled etc...getting your trooper enough fuel, without over fueling it can really make a difference from the "1 size fits all" standard setting on the controller,or just guessing/tuning with the seat of the pants performance meter... once you ve tested/adjusted your fuel controller I would normally remove the air fuel gauge and o2 (put a plug in the bung for later)...and keep for tuning if you do other changes down the road...just my 3cents...Hardy

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!

Just bought new 2024 AODES 650 work cross 2 seated for my dad and he's very resilient at 79 and still cuts trees, splits and hauls firewood for heating home. He's begun using Polaris ATV with wagon more over his 80's toyo4x4 flatbed after the wood has been split. I figured UTV would be easier, more practical at times and more fun. It does not have a heater and would like suggestions on one that best suits his. He's tough but gets chilled easy now and a heater would make joyriding much better at this time of year. I Have found nothing that specifically Says it's made for this particular UTV I don't know what to make of the More generic Hacher versions Or how adaptable they are. I've read They have come from the factory with Heaters but It says nothing about Adding
